I believe he is talking about todd haberkon who received literal rape allegations more than anything worse than vic and still works for funimation.
I wonder why ron would say he is talking to todd and helping him steer in the right direction. Its because this is todds only way of keeping his job and not being blacklisted.

You're building theories on an assumption made from the texts of someone who constantly lies.
Do you really believe Ron has ever "helped" anyone? That's just a lie to give himself the authority he doesn't have.
It's just the good ol' "Well I know a guy, so I know what I'm talking about, so just do what I say (and tell Vic to drop the lawsuit)".
There either is no guy, or some poor dude that Ron regularily bothers with dumbass books suggestions like he did with Nick.
Ron is manipulative, he is a coward who feels empowered when he is hidding behind twitter, and he is insecure as fuck.
So many lines in his texts to Nick are pure manipulation:
- guilt triping Nick:
I thought you were a professionnal, not a vile pathetic gamer (Ron, I'm a gamer too, so go fuck yourself).
- talking about his grandma to make him feel bad and put him in a vulnerable place, while painting himself as the virtuous one.
- giving a sad backstory to paint himself as a poor victim and try to get sympathy (nobody gives a shit about it, Ron).
- guilt triping Nick with Vic:
Will you admit you were wrong when Vic has to pay half a million bucks?
- guilt triping Nick with everybody else: with the GFM, with his superchats, with his family, etc, etc.
- even making false equivalence:
As a dad, how who'd you feel if your daughter was in a 50+ dude's room? (When did that happen?)
- trying to convince Nick he is making a fool of himself :
lol u mad, triggered, you were wrong, we won (did you really Ron?)
- and, of course, the one line you're theorizing about (amongst all the other lies).
And he is also trying to get statements from Nick to use against Vic:
answer my questions, why don't you answer my questions, you should answer my questions,...
I'm not going to go into every details about how he tries everything he can to get what he wants.
But his goal here is transparent: He's trying to talk Nick into stopping what he does.
There is a good reason for Nick calling him a weasel, he is one.
