This guy is just a low functioning adult who got lucky with money and then sperged out for a decade because of it. Now everything is coming back to bite him.

Him getting big on youtube is probably the worse thing to have happened to him, because it made him feel like a real adult and so he had to go and do what his weak minded brain considered to be adult stuff.

It's clear he can't have any responsibility, and the amount of things he can't do for "reasons" just confirms to me he should have never moved out.
He needs someone constantly around or he just seize to function. No food, no cleaning, no telling him to do the most basic human stuff.

The court should shatter this illusion he has built for himself by taking everything and send him home to his mom.

But that would mean that Kat actually had sex with Phil, unprotected at that. Phil must've paid a lot for that bareback creampie then cheaped out on the Plan B. I mean he'd have to leave the house, drive to the store, pay the $10 (which he doesn't have cause HE NEEDS THE MONEY) so let's stick to the Phil motto of: it is what it is, nothin I could do.
It was an immaculate CATception.

Late but holy shit i cant believe he's dumb enough to claim he has no electronics.

All a lawyer would need to do is google his youtube and watch a single video to know thats a lie and then hes fucked. He should have done inventory on everything you can see in the background of his videos and claimed those at the very least because the lawyers are pretty much guaranteed to prove he owns those

Shit like this is why I don't believe he even talked to his lawyer longer than a couple minutes. Lying about shit like this doesn't even help him. Almost all his electronics is outdated junk nobody could sell for anything anyway and on top of that he uses to make money. It's probably exempt anyway, maybe even that stupid ass green screen he never uses.

But now he's just straight up lied in an obvious way.

If you're trying to slip in a giant whopper like that bullshit $5,000 a month "business expenses" for your homoerotic wrestling porn, the last thing you should do is just randomly lie about shit that doesn't even matter. Phil is a goddamn idiot.

A competent lawyer who looked at this bullshit would have kicked it back to him and said no, you can't fucking file this you moron.

My guess is he's claiming all the electronics are part of his business and/or Katherine owns them, similar to saying he doesn't own a cat. Seems like stupid shit to contradict yourself on, but that's Phil. "I never said I had a cat, you're such a morahn!"

Good catch. The reason why he said he doesn’t have a cat is because it’s Khet’s dood! Fucking idiot and his dumb semantics.

In the main DSP thread @tzgnilki brought up the fact that DSP claims to not own a registered trademark (which he apparently does), but with this post I want to focus on the internet domain name/website.

Like... why on earth would he put down a "No" there? He's been running TKOH.com as an admin for the whole world to see for years. The URL is being shown in his Twitter bio, on his Twitch page and on his Youtube channel. I don't know the exact lore on it, but I do know that he's got someone in an admin position who at least does maintenance on the forum software and is possibly also running the server hardware (I thought).

So the only way I see it being true that he's not the owner of the website/domain, is if the domain is owned by this "maintenance person". Unfortunately, WHOIS doesn't tell you much, if anything at all, about who actually owns the domain. Beside WHOIS, I don't know about any other tools that could provide more info, but maybe someone here knows more.

Seems like such a weird thing to lie about. Could it be that he simply read the question wrong AND his lawyer didn't know and/or failed to notice it?

I am looking forward to him talking that kind of shit to a judge when he gets called out for lying. Especially if they start dropping words like perjury and referring for criminal prosecution.

These are all things that could be used to kick him out of bankruptcy for fraud. It doesn't even matter whether he intended to deceive, although he obviously did. All that matters is he put shit that isn't true on the form. The term "fraud" is used very loosely in bankruptcy and need not be a crime or civil tort.

No, gatcha game spending isn't legally recognized as gambling. For it to be legally recognized as gambling it would also have to be legally regulated as gambling by a gaming commission or something. Phil is aware of this. Listen here (look, LISTEN!) as Phil explains this while getting his panties in a twist that he can't legally write off his mobile game addiction spending as gambling debts. Timestamped at 20m36s
Thanks lovebug for clearing it up, however..it should have been reported on the bankruptcy application though, no?
I was thinking about the expenses part and how our lovely @actualy and @SoapQueen1 h ave broke it down for us and I wonder if he factors in his monthly spending on his WWE addiction in the 5200 buis expense. I thought about how he loves semantics and I can see him using the excuse of : "well see judge I play vidyer gaemz for a liveen and this is part of my jerb"

This thread is moving so fast I can't even read everything.

I will say that Phil has taught me a lot about how to be an adult because of this. I'd have never learned about bankruptcy and all these legal terms if he hadn't publicly fucked his life up so bad, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that. So we all have that to thank him for.

just a reminder that dsp is trying to say his average income is $4,000

5.2k in business operating expenses? All he does is shit in his room all day. The most expenses there could be are internet and electricity. The games he buys dont add up to 5k. He is even gifted games for free most of the time. Unless he is counting buying groceries and paying for his car business expenses. Just living is a business expense apparently.

I don't think he spends close to $5000/month on WWE Champions. The estimated ~$40k amount he's spent is since March '16, so like 40 months. The credit card debt suggests he hasn't spent much more than that, like I was thinking he might have.

it honestly sounds like as soon as he fabricated his expenses to be more than his income, he stopped giving a shit and didn't declare a whole bunch of stuff

It's all the hair plugs he's getting.

Over/Under is when a bet has a numerical value and the bookie sets the value you can bet higher or lower than. It's not just asking if someone would put money on something happening.

For example, let's say the over/under on Phil's credit card debit was 100,000 dollars. If I bet "Over", I win.

o/u 0.5 the number of wedding suits Phil will wear to his hearing

Yeah, this is the big one.

I suspect the valuation on his WA condo is the second biggest problem. He is reaching using a Zillow value and a selling fee to get his equity conveniently slightly below the $125K homestead exemption. His specific unit is not even on Zillow I think, but his filing implies it is, and almost identical neighboring properties are in the 400K's on Zillow and various other websites.

His household net income and personal expenses are also perhaps a bit too convenient. It just happens to be that their expenses are slightly higher than their net income.

But the business expenses of $5K+ per month. This perhaps can decimate so many things. Destroy the bankruptcy filing, give creditors free reign, accusations of fraud, IRS audits and penalties and fees and interest, damaged reputation, etc. He states on his forms that he is a "Content Creator", and people can just watch the quality of one of his streams and know that his business expenses are highly questionable.

I think he just picked the $5,000+ number to barely bring himself into so-called median income to qualify for Chapter 7, and I think that's pretty transparently bullshit.

as soon as he hit that magic threshold, he didn't care about anything, including being honest on his forms

it's very on brand for him to do the least amount of work as possible

I'm pretty sure that was the entire scope and extent of Big Brain Phil's genius plan. The instant he got the number he wanted by just making up something, fuck it, I'm done, dood, now my debts just go away! Easy peasy!

He'll probably be absolutely baffled and enraged when the trustee shows up and just starts selling off all his shit. That's what liquidation means.

Did he marry Khet out of some weird belief he could conceal his possessions under her name? That’s all I can come up with why he’d lie about so much on the form. It’s not mine, I “legally” gave it to my wife.
Even if you assume the courts and creditors would accept his lies at face value, surely the man who blames everything on the detractors would know the detractors will be submitting bankruptcy fraud tips?
It’s better to be broke (especially when you can just move in with your parents) than in prison.
