I fail to understand how any such virus could differentiate different races of people at a cellular level effectively.

Well, its not only asians who can get the virus. Asians are just more susceptible to catching it because of genetic differences. (the lung receptors like other anons said)

Tinfoil, but with how technology has advanced, I wouldn't put it past any government to engineer and release viruses that are more likely to attack certain groups of people for population control/ethnic genocide.

I’m with you in that I think it’s 60’s tier ScFi garbage. But it is a horrifying thing to contemplate if it were possible. If it were possible somebody would have already sprung it on the (((Jews))) the Blacks and the Canadians.

Of course no one is going to go all out amd say "actually each race is different", for the sake of political correctness but there is scientific evidence that says races are more susceptible to certain diseases because of evolutionary and environmental reasons. For example, white people are more vulnerable to skin cancer than black people, for obvious reasons.

designing a specific enough illness isnt hard and more social science than biotech.
Just look at Aids, Its designed to kill gays and africans who like to rape each other. Its not realy a major threat for Heterosexual white people in a safe region.

designing an anti chinese virus is even easyer, they are super filthy and dont understand that you dont spit on the floor.

But i doubt Coronachan is a bioweapon, Its not very practical, same goes for the flue. the chances to infect your own people are just to high.
My bet is that Coronachan was desgined to be a test virus for labs, easy to grow, not as dangerous as Sars. but those idiots set it free.

The blog post seems plausible. Author said he had no factual basis to discount that the virus was engineered. I fear such manipulation of a virus is indeed possible. Lots of shit going on behind closed doors, or in buildings with no windows and armed guards, that our collective anus would permanently clench to learn about.

The most plausible thing in the blog post is it tracks the two Chinese Scientists, who were receiving funding from everybody and their mother, US and China and beyond, as they worked at UNC, which did apparently engineer a Coronavirus for reasons that seem against common sense, and as they moved from there to the Chinese Wuhan Virus Lab. I’m guessing nobody thought to check their socks on the day they flew home. Further evidence that the world will not end in war or global cataclysm, but at the hands of some autistic scientist wanting to examine something stupid.

IMO, the apparent skew towards male and asian victims can be explained by things other than targeted weapon. For one, this is China, They are mostly Asian, of course. But there have been non-asians who have gotten this. I think the male skew could be attributed to who the Chinese medical staff, with a limited number of test kits, think is important enough to test. That more men than women in China would be treated with that level of concern is a distinct possibility. I'm waiting to see what we might find out from the victims in the west before I come to any conclusions there.

i bought a bunch of DOG shares (the inverse Dow30 ETF) anticipating tomorrow, this might maybe hopefully FINALLY be the trigger for the "recession that never seems to come but should be here any minute now."
anyone wanting to make a quick buck might want to do the same (or at least short an ETF that's heavily invested in chinese firms), since (as i said) we're wayyyyyyy overdue for a correction. or you could buy a bunch of respirators and masks and hock those instead for a larger ROI i guess.
