The form is deliberately fake, he's attempting to control the narrative and tell everyone it's moving costs to Washington.

When was the debt incurred? has been left blank on every creditor.

Edited to Add below -
This is his first filling, ergo this does the most damage, if he's omitting critical information or being misleading, there's a underlying reason. Clearly when the debt was incurred is an issue for Phil, that's why it's blank.

Logically, Phil knows the filling is incomplete. To save face he'd rather waste the courts time with an incomplete filling.

Thanks to Tevin to pointing this out on his video.

Deliberately fake? Like it's not real and DSP took us all for a ride? If he faked all of this, that means he intentionally made himself out to look like a fuckup. Why would he do that?

Has he always claimed the big move was what destroyed his finances? It seems like a relatively recent admission.
And why go through with it, if you know its going completely empty out your savings?

I always thought the narrative was youtube ad revenue dried up, and the trolls fucked him over on videos, but it was years after the move when this happened.

I think Amerdos means that this form isn't fucked up because Phil is an idiot and half-assed it - it's fucked up because Phil is intentionally trying to withhold information and praying none of the creditors/lawyers/judge figure it out.

Leanna was "on and off" with Phil until he moved to Washington. Reminder that all of this is because of Pandalee, and thank her for it.

Why wouldn't he think he could get away with something like that? He has been doing exactly that for probably his entire life; first with mommy and daddy, and now with his paypigs. I just hope for once someone does their due diligence and he gets whats coming to him.(optimistic i know)

Additionally, Tevin was theorizing that Phil told his lawyer this was going to be grilled by detractors, and floats the possibility that Phil deliberately omitted details or made errors that would deceive the detractors when the documents went public, then amend them later in the hopes that fewer people would notice, or that the amendments wouldn't be public.

If he does manage to make changes to this document or make changes in some official capacity, will we see them or see an updated document?

That said, the missing "When was the debt incurred" could wreck up his narrative pretty badly, since he has basically claimed it was mostly the move to Renton. He hasn't really said it was anything else, outside of taxes and juggling interest payments. Some of those credit cards must have been active when he was flying Kat around the country, so he was still building that debt while begging to pay it down. Significantly less flattering.

Ah. Tism time doesn't start for me for a few hours. I'll catch up then. Thanks for clarifying

He talks about a number of financial things in his pre-stream video.

At 4:07 he says "Things would blow up in my face for another stupid reason. Oh my god, you weren't filing your taxes properly for several years because your tax attorney from Connecticut was an asshole."

Either he had federal tax issues or he was foolish enough to have a CT attorney doing his WA taxes, or both.

his CT tax guy was a family friend who was teaching economics at high school or college

I wouldn't expect him to know about obscure tax laws in a different state

dsp was trying to be cheap after pretending not to be a business then having to pay taxes

Has he always claimed the big move was what destroyed his finances? It seems like a relatively recent admission.
He also blames his CT tax attorney / CPA / accountant / "tax guy" for doing his Washington state taxes wrong, resulting in him owing years of back taxes. He's also blamed the false copyright strikes in 2015 for reducing his YouTube income.

I believe a good chunk of his debt was just to impress Leanna, especially when you watch those moving vlogs where every day they were going out spending money. They also had house hunting vlogs where they ate expensive meals every day. All on credit. She got away, and he's still paying for her years after she's gone.

I'm sorry, but that theory is ridiculous. No lawyer is going to have their time wasted and let their client intentionally submit a fake bankruptcy form in order to fool people that are mean on the internet.

I would agree, but why did the lawyer allow Phil to file this obvious disaster of a bankruptcy claim. She signed off on this. Nothing makes sense to me.

I mean she IS a bankruptcy mill. For all we know she didn't even look at the form - she just trusted that Phil knew what he was doing, stamped it and sent it off. It'd be pretty easy for her to claim ignorance at how poorly done the form is if/when people actually start looking at it.

Phil was required to attend a counseling session.

That wss with this chick. She signed off on that.

I don't see her ALSO signing off on the paperwork itself or am I missing it?
