I think they've misinterpreted the results. Yeah, I've seen a couple of Dark's other porn movies, and they matched the tone of NWH to various degrees. They all had humor between the sex scenes, and the sex scenes always had over-the-top set design, props and costuming, and also always had upbeat pop songs playing for background music.
