Agreed. We're taking things case-by-case. The local PD here won't really do anything unless it presents as a plausible threat and or imminent threat. So, we gotta pick our battles.

In all likelihood, no one will show/cause an issue, but regardless, give them everything you get. You don't have to pursue all of it but its like WE say about the KV idiots. "WHERE IS THE POLICE REPORT?"

Make sure there ARE police reports just so you have a record for any future lawsuits, aside from the stuff I said earlier. And if they continue, you may well need to sue.

I kind of feel bad for any sane cosplayers that are out there. I mean, law of averages suggests there have to be at least a couple that aren't narcissistic harpies. But after a year of this and years of seeing a sampling of these people over in our Beauty Parlor, if I were running a convention I'd be tempted to just ban cosplay altogether. It seems like some of the worst, most toxic things in the community involve this particular subset of attendees.

Cosplay just to have fun or dick around is just a hobby.

When you try to make a carreer out of it is when it gets sketchy.

These aren't anti-gg spergs. Most they'll do is cry on Twitter contact a few people and then shit themselves. This is also happening in Canada. Usually the only bomb threats made are against the police or schools/ airports. I don't even remember when there was an actual bombing in Canada, there is however an expert missing with ties to "Neo Nazi" groups, I highly doubt he'll show up to a convention

Unless Gray Haddock some how scraped every account he could get his hands on, live action stuff should have been free of those problems.

With the help of @Immaculate Ape, employee of Kitchener Comicon and indeed immaculate, we have determined that

1. The left document is a budget list the con submits to the city. Again, the CON submits this document TO THE CITY. This is not a proof of funding, this is an estimated budget list. The city pays for NOTHING.
2. The right document isn't even for Kitchener Comicon. It's for a completely different event.

At best, the person posting this on Twitter does not know any better. At worst, he is attempting to deceive people.

And by the way:

I'm all for special events, but organizer's conduct is awful.

The organizer has been nothing but professional to everyone up to this point. The organizer knows there is no appeasement.
