Wonder where all the impeachment salt is
Many remaining SA posters despise Trump, sure, but they also despise the Democratic Party and don't consider themselves Democrats at all. I've had this discussion with some of them -- they don't consider Democrats left, and they don't consider themselves progressives. Their ideological focal point is far, far more extreme. That is likely why there haven't been tons of posts about exoneration. President Trump does not represent them, but neither does any Democrats who has opposed him.
Horseshoe Theory is best exemplified on SA, for instance, in many of the farthest left posters supporting open and unfettered ownership of firearms. Not because they identify with the traditional right/conservative position that supports the Second Amendment, but instead believing that violent force is the only method of overthrowing the government, and thus effecting the change they wish to see. This is coupled with a belief that anyone center or right thereof is fascist, and fascists are violent by nature. Therefore, it is natural to control the means to exert violence on fascists. The layered irony of calling for violence and the murder of their opponents whilst calling them fascists, is, of course, lost on them.
Related, but Christopher Wray (director of the FBI) just today elevated white nationalism as an existential threat to the United States on par with ISIS -- I would portend this belies a very limited understanding of what the far left posters on SA and other places advocate on a daily basis.
Though I don't traffic in the nexus points of online extremism, I suppose SA became one while I was there. SA is a breeding ground of leftist extremism that is seldom matched elsewhere, and has spun off a number of extreme left discords where the conspirators plot (See: Serious Overchill). I believe the only thing further foiling the fermentation of this extremist ideology is the hangups that plague them by nature -- identity ideology, sexual confusion, mental illness, and the like. They do earnestly believe, and often talk about killing "fascists" in these places, which isn't funny, especially when you begin to realize they consider virtually anyone not them a "fascist."
Eventually, in the vein of other incidents of domestic terrorism, some kinetic event will occur. And Lowtax and his staff have allowed it to happen, when not actively encouraging it.
