She isn't actually claiming her mother is dead. In the last big fight, Barbara told Amy that she (Amy) was dead to her (Barbara). So in retaliation, Amy cleverly declared that Barbara is now dead to her also.

Has anyone done a recap on the big Facebook fight they had some months back? It was glorious. Amy read most of the messages out loud on a livestream. Her mother said she is phony AF on YouTube, mentioned that Amy smelled like meat, and said something about how gross it was that Amy stuck her hands down her pants and then asked Barbara to smell them. I'm serious.

These were all private messages from Barbara to Amy, which Amy then read out loud to her livestream - so they're not manufactured by Barbara to create drama or anything. Amy wanted validation and asspats, so she aired all of her 6X dirty laundry. Instead of validation, she faced backlash over reading these messages out loud and had some followup videos about that also.
