Modern day supply chains are based around Just-In-Time stock, so they tend not to keep much in their warehouses. It's a good idea to keep overhead costs for storage down, but it leaves those chains very sensitive to a system shock like a pandemic. I thought it was really weird that Beijin, and Shanghai for that matter, were showing such minor increases each day. Especially coma pared to the surrounding areas.

That's good news for those that are modern countries considering that their gargantuan death rate is largely due to incompetence and not just an utterly overwhelming disease. But considering it has HIV strains in its DNA sequence, I very highly doubt that it was a spontaneous mutation of some other disease that occurred in nature and I doubt that China were researching diseases for the purpose of creating preemptive cures. That doesn't strike me as something the CCP would just do out of the kindness of their commie hearts.

Why are they all "disinfecting" roads, (cities too) but you see china using a lot of trucks on highways / roads spraying and now North Korea just begun to do the same ?

The number of infections (and therefore death) is not any indication or engineering for one simple reason: what it is perfectly congruent with is what many, many chinese people have been saying, namely that this shit was brewing for months before the CCP was forced to admit to it! Those early infection graphs show that perfectly. The progression is god damned LINEAR. Infections follow a bell curve, if you're seeing a linear pattern that means you've caught it so late that it's already accelerating the most it can. ANY virus no matter how benign can get to this point if left unchecked in the miasma of unhygienic food practices and poverty that is china. This is why early response matters so much, because if you got a virus that infects 20 people a day, and you let it be for a few months, you get a virus that infects 200 people an hour. And there ain't no one who wants to deal with that.

As for lethality. It's still really not that high. Just look at the videos of how china is handling this they're literally constantly turning people at the door and putting them in fucking collective human farms, and most die because the ambulance/taxi never even comes for them. We're talking about a country that only treats people when it's already way too late and they're past the point where some poor countries with better leadership might even consider nor trying to treat them for the sake of using those resources for patients with more chances, and on top of all that more often than not they're being treated through experimentation with treatments that don't work half the time or are just straight up known to backfire. Honestly the fact that 70% makes it out alive is god damned reassuring given the utter mess they're put through. I know I wouldn't take that kinda beating without a lot of pain. So yet again as I keep saying. I do believe this was a chinese experent gone wrong myself. But that ain't good enough. The 2005 patent is what convinced me but technically its not sufficient eithet, at least until someone compares that virus to this one and gets some real analitical data. I hope someone does soon enough. Then again even if analytical data says its not the same it could just be a second strand from an experiment meant to emulate the first after it got canned for whatever reason. Because they sure seem similar in form and function. But again I must admit bias and that technically we can't prove shit yet. And the deathtoll ain't gonna be no proof of shit. Specially not in china.

EDIT: as for the preemptive cure thing, the chinks have yet to finance a cure for the prior SARS outbreak or indeed ANY coronavirus, that's why cure research is taking so long, so this sure as shit ain't that. If they were researching, it wasn't for a coronavirus antiviral.

Well disinfecting a road, on which cars drive, cars which contain people that might be infected, and don't really infect the road, is fucking moronic. So I'mma guess its less what they know and more qhat they don't know. Namely they don't know that disinfectant isn't any kind of magical feng shui firewall that stops viri from crossing it. Fucking traditional medicine, it does this shit to your brain. North Korea regularly struggles with shit like paratyphoid fever because they’re always dealing with poor health due to starvation and next to no infrastructure for sanitation or hygiene. Corona-Chan could be ravaging the countryside and they’d have no idea unless it started infecting party leadership who actually has health care and is well fed. My guess is that’s what happened and why they only seem to give a shit now. Given their near total reliance on China, you could rationally assume coronavirus is nailing North Korea right now like many other East Asian countries.
