I... don't get it. I legitimately don't get what is supposed to be funny about this.

It's a spin on a 4chan meme.

There is the Ideal GF meme with the "aborted GF" variant:

Speaking of which...

Note the release date: 26 july 2016. Steam games started getting TDS almost 4 months before he even got elected

Yeah these are totally sane people. I don't doubt for a second that they created that dlc because they believed that it was literally going to happen if he was elected

Quite the reviews as well. My favorite:

I think the second one speaks for itself as to the mindset of the designers
Dude, they're Canadians

Keep in mind, this person is being retweeted by someone who retweeted this, and tweeted this and this. The projection is off the fucking charts here.

Once again, I don't understand people who claim to be against fascism, yet bitch endlessly about libertarianism. It's like they have no self-awareness what-so-ever.

What? The Republican party isn't an Islamic fundamentalist party.

What? The Republican party isn't a Clinton/Epstein dinner party.

Regarding this specimen, assuming he is sincere its autism due to them hating the idea of not being able to force libertarians in line or impose shit on them. However given how whining about libertarians is trendy in woke land I suspect its just more empty edgewoke posturing

I'm currently in the process of diving through this person's Twitter feed right now, and I can say that they seem very sincere. They whinge on about colonialism, communism, socialism, queer theory, revolutions, how Democrats/Liberals are fascist and corrupt, and is Pro Second Amendment. They also claim to be indigenous, black, and Jewish, while speaking favorably for Islam.

I lost my aunt to TDS. It was sad because we were really close. She tutored me for the essay portion of the SAT, proofread my essays throughout college, and really helped shape me as a writer.

Somehow she got it into her head that because my parents are a little bit more on the conservative side (socially liberal, fiscally conservative) that they are naturally bigoted racist Trump supporters. Haven't spoken to us and blown off every holiday invitation since. She doesn't talk to me either despite me being completely apolitical outside of the internet. Last time I saw her was my grandma's funeral.

I still follow my aunt on Twitter. Every morning at 6:30, she will spew venom on every recent Trump tweet then say mean hateful things to supporters in the comments. At one point she said it's fun to bully conservatives. She is a grown ass woman. What I worry about is my cousin, her son. He is in college and severely autistic. While he is nonverbal he can use an iPad to type and communicates that way and the kid is smart as hell and a terrific writer. He knows what is going on even if he can only speak in Thomas the Tank Engine quotes. Poor kid is probably hearing and absorbing whatever TDS nonsense my aunt is spewing. He's a good kid and this has to be stressing him out.

People talk shit about right-wingers but the fact they're still anti-abortion when galloping retards like that guy was allowed to live is admirable.

The Bernie-bro line on this was "They created more part-time jobs while laying off full-timers, creating more jobs on paper".

To be fair, they aren't entirely wrong. But that's been a trend since 2010 at least, and it was largely being driven by Obamacare's requirements for employees who work more than 30 hours a week. A quote from when this was noticed back in 2013:

According to figures produced by the House Ways and Means Committee, 270,000 full-time jobs have been added since January 2009 compared to 1.9 million part-time jobs, The Washington Times reports.

Also HuffPo in 2013: "75 Percent Of Jobs Created This Year Were Part-Time Due To Weak Economy, Obamacare Concerns"

If you add in "alternative work" jobs like Uber gigs, they account for 94% of job growth in the decade before Trump took office.

So this is yet another case of socialists being able to identify a problem, but being completely unable to identify its source or come up with a solution.

Furthermore, they only notice the problem when they think they can blame it on a Republican. Like how the homeless disappeared under Clinton and Obama.

It used to be that voting for Republican presidents kept the press honest and observant, but even that isn't the case any more.

I have TDS experience as well. And a bit of TES (Trump Enslavement Syndrome) too.

I'm in college, so naturally I have saw a fair bit of TDS right before the election. We had a mock election where students would vote for their candidate; Hillary won by I think 46%, Trump by 23%. Anyway, everybody was confident that Hillary would win. I remember seeing Trump won on the TV; my social media feed went crazy that night. The next day, the atmosphere was ... unsettling. The college was quiet during it; you could feel people's disappointments and somber attitude towards the result. My teacher didn't take it well; she was on the verge of tears.

That time too, I had a Trump supporting online friend. She was happy Trump won. I wasn't; we'd argue a bit about it regularly. Our school would have protests (DACA, Women's March) so I attended them. I wanted to feel like I was an activist, fighting against injustice. It was like that for a year or so, I would be in tone with CNN and such. I guess you could say I had TDS.

Over time, I realized that my liberal professors and friends would talk about Trump 24/7 or have news coverage about him plastered all over. It got nauseating; I couldn't keep up. I think the transgender movement was what got me thinking: maybe this is getting out of hand. I would ask one of my friends how they would feel about Trump. The answer would be "mein fuhrer", passionately too.

Mind you: I do not like Trump at all. I think he's a boisterous, egotistic, racist asshole (here comes the dumb ratings). BUT, the micro-analyzing of everything he does, which overshadows legitimate concerns about him (his environmental policies or lack thereof, promoting Ajit Pai which endangers our access to the Internet, preaching to be "America First" but her daughter has business involvements outside the country with her clothing lines, etc) is emotionally draining.

Now, with TES, it's mainly adults retorting the same talking points over and over again. I had one baby boomer rallying for Trump at her school (you know before election day, they have these stands where they say VOTE FOR X? I forgot what they're called.) Anyway, she was telling me how "Democrats hated America" and "90% of Blacks support Trump". Now, that last part DID NOT sound right at all. She was also a typical Facebook boomer who would share pro-Trump news and memes no matter how inaccurate they sounded.

I'm Black, so my perspective of TDS is slightly different based on experience. I don't like Trump, but the self righteous attitude of the Democratic Party and MSM had me take a step back and reevaluate how to properly debate politics. IMO, neither party has my best interests at heart as an African American. The Republicans like to use the "free-thinker" card about Black voters while the Democrats play the "muh diversity" card into overkill, it feels downright insulting. Both also like to play the revisionist history route about American history (Lincoln freeing the slaves, Republicans were pro-Black, Democrats are the real racists, socialism benefits everybody, Islam is a religion of peace), thinking I am ignorant to not do my own research.

It's to a point where should I even care anymore beyond my own interests. I personally believe Trump caused all this resentment and division towards the two parties. While it can be entertaining to see White people lose their shit knowing full well they are likely unaffected by Trump, it's scary with how unpredictable and unhinged Donald Trump is. If the American government knew how to regulate itself, we wouldn't even be in this situation.

I'm finished.
I’m curious to understand why you think Trump is unhinged and racist but at the same time I probably shouldn’t be asking that.
