Indian here.
Everything is fine this Monday morning, I have a brief to attend regarding the corona virus cuz im a radiologist. All visa's India gave to Chinese nationals are null and void. E-Visa site to get e-visa's for travel to India are down. There was supposed to be a meeting between India and China regarding trade but that has been delayed. Cops in my town are now wearing masks idk if thats good or not. Indian companies, specifically our car companies are bracing for economic impact due to chink's lack of ability to NOT eat anything thats sentient. Thank fuck we still grow our food(praise jebus). API(active pharmaceutical ingredient(s)) prices have gone up but govt. ensures us we have a few months of supply although I talked to my friend in Frankfurt and he said there was a 6 month shortage of masks, and gloves (take the with a grain of salt).
Everything is fine for now....
Fuck chinks, death to all trolls and peace to all sonichu fans

North Korea is perhaps the one country on the planet that shouldn't have gotten this disease. They are likely the one country capable of truly controlling every square inch of their border. The coronavirus shouldn't have even made it past the landmines.

And yet, this says little of the virulence of coronavirus, and more about the sheer autism of the state of Best Korea.
False, that country is Madagascar. If Madagascar gets it then we are truly screwed.

Someone quicker in the logic-department will have to answer that, I'm blacked out for now.
But I want to add that I noticed, that the post I quoted wasn't quite accurate. Sometimes it had been 1,9%, sometimes 2,0%, sometimes 2.1
Because recovery takes longer than death.

Can a virus even do this, or is this just another LARP?
Gatdam Chinese clickers
fucking hell this damn virus just gets worse and worse.
it lasts over a week on surfaces, it has an incubation period of 2 weeks, you can infect people without showing symptoms, you can get re-infected after recovering and now it also gives you a rash and releases spores...

Beijing on lockdown.

Actually China finally came out and stated that the virus was airborne, that it was kind of transforming into an aerosol through droplets and then travel around 10 to 13 miles.

I think we've all pretty much figured that out. The Cruise ships certainly proved it. I remain skeptical of some of the notions of how far it can spread while airborne. The 10-15 miles thing seems suspect. Even airborne you generally need close contact or enclosed spaces. In other words it spreads like the Flu. Something to take serriously but not panic over.

The guy who did the video made the point though that the study was sort of a manipulation of Data, though- at least that is what I got from it. It was 'looking backwards' for one and according to how he read the title they specifically picked subjects who were having complications and got the Pneumonia. Not just patients who were diagnosed with WuFlu et all. So the study was more; we looked at patients who got the worst complications, pneumonia, and these complications resulted in these rates. He even says 'many others had a much milder form'.

The previous study he looked at from the lancet indicated that 17% of people got the pneumonia as a complication. So this study would be looking at, from how he read the title, what the rates were within that 17%. If this particular study was done as he figured it was from how he interpreted the title it would be a 4% mortality rate in the 17% who got the worst complications?

Ok if this little numbers game is just looking at the patients admitted to hospital with pneumonia. Than the fatality rates are reasonably consistent with most other forms of pneumonia. So we're not looking at Ebola or Captain Tripps here. It's a particularly virulent pneumonia. But it doesn't seem any more fatal than most other pneumonia types.

This seems suspect to the point of being pure LARP'ing. It cannot be both a Virus and a Fungus. It doesn't work that way. Short of bringing back something exotic from Mars. Dudes probably experiencing a Fever Rash.

It's just funny how all the worst speculations this thread has made from several days ago end up being confirmed days later. I seen this consistently since the first week this became a story back around January 22 to now. It goes to show that in the "Information age" even the top levels of government can't keep anything under wraps which is why I think censorship is becoming more and more important in so called free democratic societies. So how cell phones and permanent Wi-Fi can be useful for tracking people and punishing them its obvious it won't stop leaked information from getting out.

If we find out that there is indeed a very specific virus, that it specifically affects Han Chinese while the rest of people, even the risk populations, do overall well, I think it would be because they were trying to find a vaccine for themselves and were testing it on their own people rather than being targeted by Western countries.
Huh, didn't Fallout 1 predict this with the Forced Evolutionary Virus?

if this thing really was made in a lab as a deadly bio weapon then who the fuck knows what is in it, the soviets did some seriously messed up bio weapons during their days and we have much better technology to work with now.

Take care, @ballslols.

although I talked to my friend in Frankfurt and he said there was a 6 month shortage of masks, and gloves (take the with a grain of salt).

I dunno if this info serves: Peruvian ambassador in Japan talked with the Per. living there and they say that there are no masks to be found, all have been sold out.

It is possible the stock worldwide is running out, so better stock up if you can, guys.

Well, I hate to make another bad speculation, but this has been something concerning me lately. China has become increasingly involved in Africa over the last decade, or so. Africa's disease control measures are far worse than what you see even in China. The concern I have is that if Chinese citizens abroad in Africa were to spread the disease to the African population, it may become completely uncontrollable, and then enter into Europe as a result of Europe's lax migration controls. The African nations are also highly unlikely to institute travel bans on the Chinese, which means the odds of the infection spreading there are actually fairly high.

Reminder that the 4% death rate is occurring in conditions where many of the worst cases have access to respirators or oxygen tanks. As the number of cases outpace treatment, you will see it go from the sickest 10% of the infected receiving care to 1% or less of the sickest infected receiving emergency care, and then you are going to see the death rate make up the difference between the two percents.

If this was anything on par with one of the USSR's bioweapons the entirety of China would be dead or wishing they were. The shit the USSR whipped up was on an entirely different level than Corona-chan even by the most alarmist numbers.

No the death rate of 4% is based off the CCP's numbers that's not accurate at all.
