I think Vic even mentioned that he used to sing for a church and they kicked him out when they discovered that he did voice acting for anime. Many christian communities tend to have a strong dislike for anything anime related due to it having very controversial themes that are against God's teachings. Vic has also stated that christian fans would come up to him, saying that they felt ashamed for liking anime.

Don't know. But I do know that people have to stop thinking that suing broke people is a losing proposition. It's not about winning money... I'd add that because so many males have been feminized by two plus decades of the education/media condemning anything remotely manly, chivalrous, dangerous, that they are mentally more female than male on an emotional level and just as susceptible to the kind of 'feels' girls deal with.

Look at the kid that grew up in the 50s-80s and compare then to the kid that grew up in the 90s to today. Compare the amount of bubble wrapping parents applied between eras. Then compare the levels of feminized attitudes indoctrinated into them. It's as simple as looking at the amount of safety gear MANDATED for riding a bicycle or how one should respond to a bully. You can go through any individual thing and compare. Today's ADULT male cannot make a campfire without a match and a state issued permit. Back then, you had 13 year olds going on weekend overnight hikes with no adults for miles.

As a fan of golden age cinema it's pretty interesting to see how different the leading men in those movies act compared to the guys of today, especially in how they act towards the female leads. Nowadays, those films also get heavily criticized by a lot of feminists for being misogynistic, sexist, and any other label they wanted to throw at how the men behave. I mean, those films get slapped with a lot of labels by people that don't understand that a film made in the 30s 40s 50s will have different sensibilities then us now, but one of the things I see the most besides racism is misogyny.

I'm curious, has anyone actually looked into the accusations about Anime Matsuri? John Leigh's wife, Denise claimed that all he did was make jokes at a couple of lolita girls and they decided it was sexual harassment. There were also rumors of exotic animals being sold as pets there as well. Vic going last year gave them a lot more attention, but it honestly was suprising to me that the "boycott" went nowhere.

Also, IIRC, didn't some woman (Gothic Sushi or EriMin maybe?) claim that he tried to pick her up at a con while his wife (the one who interviewed Vic and Nick at different times last year) was also in the same room, or some shit?
