Regarding this specimen, assuming he is sincere its autism due to them hating the idea of not being able to force libertarians in line or impose shit on them. However given how whining about libertarians is trendy in woke land I suspect its just more empty edgewoke posturing
This is something I find really baffling. Like you think the left would try to actively court those who disagree with republicans on social issues, the drug war and overseas/international bullshittery, but still want free-market capitalism. The fact that they seem to hate libertarians more than actual republicans is deeply telling in my personal exceptional tin-foil hat opinion.

Like why go so aggressive over the guy who doesn't want a police state, foreign wars/international welfare and capitalism; unless you yourself are a pro-police state communist who wants the same NeoCon foreign policy?

Who's corpse is this foul creature wearing as a skin suit while it demands respect on the floors of congress?

In 2016, they lost that power. It was so monumentally short sighted and arrogant, but I'd defy anyone here to prove me wrong. And now they no longer have any power at all, AND they have to contend with the fact that all the power they had with the people is gone, AND they have to deal with the fact that everything they empowered is now in Republican hands.
I disagree.

If the left lost power we wouldn't have seen them continue to get away with "rules for thee but not me" style of rulership. We would be seeing AntiFa goons locked up for criminal assault and destruction of property at least, and at least an attempt to give the facade of making this impeachment look legit.

The left didn't lose their power, they lost their dominance.

And Trump was a dotard that got played by Turkey and created more grievances with Iran.
Kurdish Commie Deathsquads can get fukked

We shouldn't be using US soldiers as meat shields in Middle Eastern ethnic conflicts in general, ESPECIALLY not meat shields against a NATO ally to defend the lives of fucking communist terrorists

Schiff Looks like a character out of Mdickie's hard time, it's the eyes i think.

that's kinda weird because trump
1. identified with the republican party by signing on as a candidate in 2015
2. killed it by assuming direct control of the leadership de facto by getting all the delegates
3. gutted it by winning the presidency and now nobody's going to stand up to him without getting called out by trump's supporters
4. is wearing the republican party as his suit while demanding respect

and i'm pointing this out as a deranged right-wing nutjob.
projection goes both ways. be careful!
There's really no way to win an election as a third party because of the ever-dominant two party system.

It's not like he took over a forum or a business, there's realistically no other way to possibly become the president.

I've gradually come to realize that Adam Schiff is a man out of time and place. He wasn't born to be an elected politician in a Western democracy in the early 21st century. No, Adam Schiff was born to be a Soviet prosecutor during Stalin's purges. He would have been happy and fulfilled, enthusiastic even, to run show trials and see state enemies get a bullet to the back of the neck. He would have loved a court system where he never loses, can use any tactic he wants, and he always gets to punish his opponents with death or the gulag.

Adam Schiff is also a fool. When it came time for him to be purged, he would never have seen it coming.

I’m going to swing back to the black-voting-block topic as representative of a defining feature of political math for what seems like longer than I’ve been alive. You should take what I’m gonna say with a grain of salt because a) I’m working from memory and b) it’s a bit Whiggish but here we go.
In the 1970’s crime in America started to move away from being about many things to being largely about one thing; drugs. Burglaries were junkies trying to fund the next high and shootings were about turf. Some of this was around already from Prohibition but the repeal of the alcohol ban snuffed most of it out. A major part of the drug business was in the inner cities where most of the population was black. Starting in the 1980’s, the theorized counter to the Regan-era “all boats rise with the tide” egalitarianism was for largely DNC candidates to back conmen like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson who pioneered the public concept of ethnic-block-voting.
All of the sudden you couldn’t oppose a policy on its merits or flaws, you voted in solidarity with your ethnic block, which was almost always run by some DNC stooge. If you opposed a policy that they backed, you couldn’t possibly be doing it for any reason other than bigotry. And it worked.
Under Ed Koch I think it was, efforts were made to reduce the abundance of blacks getting arrested for drug crime. The fastest way to do that is reduce policing in those areas, which just made the actual crime rate worse but no one went to jail for it so yay equality or something. In comes Juliani who actually tries to clean up the “ungovernable” parts of the city and that leads to a lot of black drug criminals getting arrested. His policies worked, but they were ripe for spin into some kind of Shoah by a press that even then was picking sides.
For decades the GOP played by the rules that were set up to vilify them from the outset; that’s your pandering and tokenism. It’s really hard to sell unity under egalitarian ideas when ethnic resentment makes ethnic solidarity more viscerally appealing.
That is why I think the very first lie always told us that Trump is racist, because they can’t let it sink in that in four years this one honkey outperformed the great black hope in eight. The dude keeps taking victory laps about the lowest black unemployment ever. It’s still pandering, but I don’t see anyone who supports Trump grousing about it.

How many “reeee Trump” books have been written in the last four years?

This might be one of my favorites due to its audacious absurdity:

"Over the past two years, Trump’s behavior has become both more disturbing and yet increasingly familiar. He relies on phrases like, 'fake news,' 'build the wall,' and continues to spread the divisive mentality of us-vs.-them. He lies constantly, has no conscience, never admits when he is wrong, and projects all of his shortcomings on to others. He has become more authoritarian, more outrageous, and yet many of his followers remain blindly devoted. Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert and a major Trump supporter, calls him one of the most persuasive people living. His need to squash alternate information and his insistence of constant ego stroking are all characteristics of other famous leaders—cult leaders.

"In The Cult of Trump, mind-control and licensed mental health expert Steven Hassan draws parallels between our current president and people like Jim Jones, David Koresh, Ron Hubbard and Sun Myung Moon, arguing that this presidency is in many ways like a destructive cult. He specifically details the ways in which people are influenced through an array of social psychology methods and how they become fiercely loyal and obedient. Hassan was a former 'Moonie' himself, and he draws on his forty years of personal and professional experience studying hypnosis and destructive cults, working as a deprogrammer, and a strategic communications interventionist. He emphasizes why it’s crucial that we recognize ways to identify and protect ourselves and our loved ones."

OK, cool. Now give the same treatment to Hillary, Warren, the DNC, the MSM, etc.

No, you got it backwards. Also that isn't even remotely what the Joker is about, what the fuck?
Since when does trump want to be Obama? Why? I thought he was racist (according to the left at least) and if I remember correctly, he was a part of the group that doubted Obama's legitimacy and president due to where he was or wasnt born

Did the bus boo at the Faux News watcher too?

I like how against any point made refuting a Democrat narrative, the main retort is "lol you watch too much Fox News". I think the main retort back should be "and you watch too much CNN and MSNBC".
Just tell them that Carlos Maza told us all the other media gets their news from Fox so why not go to the source. I mean......the lispy queer wouldn't lie would he?

The Trump fart sniffing in this thread has reached peak infestation.

HK what are you talking about?
Trump hasnt chipped away at anything. The news has been completely absorbed by his circus thats why people aren't talking about real issues. The circus puts asses in front of screens, talking about the economy doesnt.

North Korea is still playing with Nukes.
Russian Oligarchs are dropping millions of dollars on U.S. Elections.
And Trump was a dotard that got played by Turkey and created more grievances with Iran.
And the economy is still shit and is completely reliant that we dont go further into this stupid trade war that has been fucking over American Farmers.
And not to mention the price of living continues to skyrocket under the Trump administration. New jobs doesnt mean shit when you aren't paid enough to have a roof over your head and eat.

We are set up for another housing crash.

Trump is historical and a spectacle but hes not helping our country. Hes an embarrassment.
This isn't reddit, bro.

You vastly underestimate the power of pandering. If it didn't work, politicians wouldn't do it.

Here's the thing you need to remember about pandering: it only works if people don't know you're pandering to them. If they can tell you're trying to or if you're doing it in a blatant way, it will come off as disingenuous and/or insulting. Ergo, it will blow up in your face. See: Hillary's mariachi band in 2016.

"fix the damn roads" the karen in chief said

"the state's financially in the toilet" the republican legislature said

"I WANT TO SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER" the karen in chief said

"but ma'am, you ARE the manager" the people said

"MYSOGYNISTS!" Cried the Karen, "Men thinking a WOMAN only exists to clean up their messes! You should all resign!"

Just like clockwork, you have that one chud trying to capitalize on this by plugging in his book and saying how it will help the cause.
What a vulture.

"Capitalism has failed, read about how socialism is superior in my new book, only $49.99 on Amazon"

"The Environment is fucked, read about how to fix it in my new book, made from chopping down trees and burning gallons of fossil fuels to run the presses and fuel the delivery truck"

"Democracy has fallen to demagoguery, read about how I'm the best one to fix it and you should only ever vote for me or people who agree with me"

"I'm RICH, but I'm not one of THOSE rich people..... This expensive book of my ramblings prove that. So no burning down my vacation home in the Hamptons when you bums finally get your shit together and start that worker's revolution. Oh, and no burning down my apartment in Manhattan either, that baby is rent-controlled.

With Pissdad Wilson it's "I'm a Republican and a conservative, but I hate Trump! I'm one of the goodthought tokens you should have on CNN and MSNBC so I can claim that real Republicans and real conservatives don't want Trump elected!"

It's sad, Wilson and Kristol and Max Boot and George Will. Jeff Flake and Mitt Romney. National Review and Weekly Standard. No one takes any of them seriously anymore and that's a good thing for the Republican party and it's a good thing for conservative thought.
