Same evidence rules as any other court. It would have to be relevant to something. If he testifies, and they don't think he's telling the truth, they can introduce evidence he lies a lot. General character evidence is pretty unlikely to be relevant, though.

341 meetings are usually less formal and are typically held in a conference room where the petitioner, his or her attorney, and the trustee sit down together. The audience is other petitioners and their attorneys. Unless it’s a non-typical situation, a 341 meeting lasts 15 minutes or less, even if a creditor representative does appear. These proceedings take place in a secure facility, and if DSP is approached before of afterwards, he could claim harassment to security and cause a scene.

If the trustee wants to dig deeper, he or she will use a 2004 exam to request documents or an in-person deposition. A creditor would do most of the heavy lifting regarding objections to the discharge of a specific debt or the entire bankruptcy outside of court before resorting to an adversary proceeding. Even if DSPs case is examined closely (and it should with all of the obvious mistakes), it likely won’t be during the 341 meeting.
