Marshall is my children's REAL father. He adopted all of the children I was caring for as the Matriarch of my house before we married. He is the only dad child #2 through #5 has ever known. Child #1 did call someone else "dad" until age 2ish but has no memory of it.

Then Marshall and I married and we became an Echad and now all the children still call me "mom" and Marshall "dad" for awhile now

One of the men who I was involved with before Marshall and I married had their visitation rights terminated by courts. That was a legal court order I pushed for and am glad it happened. The other two men were never involved by their own choice and that's what I wanted anyway.

Having a child is different than getting married. You don't have to want to be with someone to have a child by them.

At those times in my life I didn't want to be married and didn't want to get married ever again. I wanted to have children though. So that's how I planned it.
