She told us that he told her that it will be harder to lose weight after 40, that her skin won't shrink as nicely after weight loss, and that getting pregnant is more difficult. Sort of a strange speech for someone who is 39. Maybe he thought it could possibly force her to actually try this year. Knowing Amy, she'll think that these changes magically happen at midnight on her 40th birthday.

I've been watching a lot of her older videos, and saw one from 1-2 years ago in which she talks about potentially having another kid. It sounded like she and Ali were undecided, but had not at all ruled it out. She referenced needing to lose weight in order to get pregnant, and it was weird because she phrased it like that was the only reason she was trying to lose weight. She was bitching about how hard it was, and like "should I even keep trying to lose weight if we're not 100% sure we're going to try for another baby?" *

Well, it's possible foster care might not be awful. I have extended family who did foster to adopt for six kids in CA, and the parents are highly educated with advanced degrees, a nice house and a good income. Not all foster situations are great, but not all are horrible. Look at the Jani and Bodhi thread, too.

Oregon has a serious shortage of available foster homes, to the point that now the state is sending kids to out-of-state facilities.

I remember when this was originally posted on the fatty train thread. Her yelling lasted quite a long time and she continued screaming and was getting more angry. It was unsettling and I think that was the moment many realized Amy has some other issues that just fat.
