I love this tweet because it shows how much Phil cannot really think for himself and is trying to act like he's better than a Video Game Shop. Maybe I'm using a little too much peanut brain power on this but I have a few things to say about just a simple 12:00 AM tweet.

Alright first of all, great gif by the way there. Does he realize the source of it? Probably not but it's episode 5 : "Delusional Imports" from a show called Akiba Ranger, where Red and Green Ranger(Powerful Rangers) are typical American dudebros and sport the red and white stripes on their collar and belt. Main character is obsessed with figures and even transforms with the power of his Waifu gun/sword.
That aside, it's pretty fuckin' grand for him ,a 37 year old with a swimsuit model for a wife, to go to the store just to shake his head. Because without Gamestop in general, he wouldn't have been able to return his used discs while keeping his empty cases to giveaway to his beloved fans. The same store that he was dependent on to get the videogames to make content. I'm sure that was very fun and exciting for him to perform that brave act.
Now he realizes the store is filled with video game t-shirts, figures and what have you. For him to act like he's above that is hilarious when he is seen almost daily wearing some cringey teenage video game shirts while has thousands of dollars worth of figures stuffed in the closet. You aren't fooling anyone, old man.
Where the videogames, huh? Well, seeing it's Phil he didn't really think too hard on this one. He probably doesn't realize he might be part of the problem here because he exclusively buys games digitally. So they had to do what Phil never does and expand ways of making money by selling more types of video game shit.
Maybe he had a good buzz going, reminiscing about his own playthrough of God of Axe Throwing while playing Bejeweled: Oiled Man Edition, and thought of how much a fun time that he had to share his mundane experience going outside for once.
Anyway thank you for joining my Tedx talk.
