In my experience it’s not so much that SJWs think that you can’t make fun of Nazis, it’s that they have to be portrayed in a very specific where they’re paradoxically the scariest thing ever but can’t actually be shown to pose any real threat to the protagonists. It’s why when you see a lot of SJW/Tumblr art is devoid of conflict, creating intimidating or threatening protagonists hurts their feels and they constantly hand-wring over the possibility that some fuckheads might find the antagonists as interesting and therefore condone their actions by default.

I think that’s another big reason Dobson and his ilk tend to praise the maturity of children’s media while typically still categorizing everything in childish terms, while an occasional episode or character might touch on some mature topics, they usually stick to the very broad strokes of the subject to keep a tidy “good guys and bad guys” dichotomy to keep the topic simple for children to digest. With the expectation that eventually they’ll see more nuanced/complicated examples of similar topics as they grow older.

But regardless I doubt Dobson (or a lot of SJWs honestly) even saw JoJo Rabbit so this is really more him parroting other people’s opinions.

All the Skeleton enemies in Zelda are male, there is no generic female skeleton enemy in Zelda. Skyrim would at least switch it up with a portion of the skeletons and zombies being female.

Lizalfoes are all male, any and all enemies that use mocap used male actors unless it was a specifically female(I don't think there has been though).

There's very very very few female enemies in Zelda as a whole. Like even the Re-Dead and their Mummy variants are all male.

Remember the Zelda timeline is bullshit and Nintendo really started the whole timeline ruse thing at Ocarania of Time. So if it's from a game that predates OOT and hasn't been remade, it's been thrown out by nintendo. Really there's only like 3 main races in Zelda: Zora, Gorons, and Humans.

Didn't Dobson take a metaphorical shit on TotalBiscuit's grave because one time, years earlier, he had made a joke about "toast-kin" that some people misconstrued as transphobic? Dobson couldn't let it go, and had to sperg about it on twitter while the man's family where mourning his death.

Agreed. Kids shows can delve into more mature topics, but at the same time, you shouldn't alienate your audience with either the Tom Hanks or Cerberus Syndrome. The main issue with Dobson and the other chucklefucks is that they do nothing but live and breathe kids cartoons with the rare MCU movie. Any show or movie above PG-13 is too adult for them. Their heads would explode at something like the Wolf of Wall Street.

I enjoy capeshit... I also enjoy cartoons.... But I also believe that one should diversify the types of media they experience so they don't turn out like well.. a Dobson or Mr Enter or to a lesser extent Mauler. First person is saying that the typical 40 hour work week combined with minimum wage means that people are too tired and broke to enjoy their free time. People after that add onto that are saying that this puts additional pressure to monetize their hobbies just so they can do them, which means competing in the market. While I think some of this is bullshit (namely most people I find who subscribe to this are lazy freeloaders and I side eye anyone who uses the term “capitalism” when complaining about basic universal adult shit) but at least I can say the two topics are connected.

Then one person mentions DeviantArt when giving an anecdote about the same topic, and Dobson comes in with “UGH DeviantArt is such an echo chamber (because the users eventually noticed what an asshole I am)” that has nothing to do with the main subject. Because of course the motherfucker can’t relate to shitty paying jobs when he has the First Bank of Mom-son to bail him out.
