Social Justice Warriors - Now With Less Feminism Sperging

I'm also guessing (and hoping) that while some of these traits are ascribed to sexism, they're not considered exclusive to it, so a guy can hold a door open as an act of politeness, without being any kind of sexist, for example.
Holding a door open for a woman is literally rape symbolism by using your strong man arms to force things open. They must get really confused when they see a guy hold a door for another guy or a woman holding a door for another woman.

Best response to this I've ever heard: "I didn't hold the door because you were a lady, I did it because I am a gentleman."

Well I, for one, am grateful for that article. A male coworker at my new job called me "dear" the other day, and I had foolishly thought it was a grandfatherly sort of thing, given that I'm the youngest member of the crew by about twenty years. Clearly this actually constitutes sexism, despite the fact that I'm otherwise treated no different than anyone else. Damn my internalized misogyny!

Don't women like topless calendars of men... What if lesbians have one?
Does anyone get the feeling she was jealous of her ex's girly calendar?
Oh, I get the impression that a lot of the manufactured outrage over this type of "sexism" really boils down to "She's prettier than I am and that makes me mad!"

Foamy is still a thing? I wish I could go back to Middle School were SJWs weren't a thing.
So I take it that universities in the USA tend to harbor a lot of extremely politically correct thinking?
They are considered one of the main areas where it's coming out of. Every few months a new story comes out about the former centers of free speech and rebellion suppressing something they don't like.

it's just now that we've been noticing it

Google Trends tells me that "cultural appropriation" wasn't seached for on Google until December 2007. The term "social justice warrior" wasn't searched for until March 2013. Wikipedia didn't have an article on "cultural appropriation" until June 2005 (where the original article was really hostile towards the concept, calling it "stealing culture" and claiming it would "offer a slap in the face the group they stole from"[1]).

Point is, extreme politically correct thinking like this thread talks about seems to have become popular only relatively recently.

So recently, DC came out with a new cover for one of their comics:

SJW's freaked the fuck out, saying it was "triggering" because it depicted a rape victim with her abuser or something along those fucking retarded lines.

A hashtag "#changethecover" was started. Unfortunately, they changed it in the end. According to this, they indeed were caving it to the SJW's, claiming they didn't want their art to offend people so that's why they changed it.

I believe originally DC said the author recieved death threats, then he came out and "clarified" by saying that he didn't, and that it was actually the people who wanted the cover changed who recieved threats (bullshit).:

So yeah, DC are fag enablers (and not the good kind), I suggest you don't buy from them ever again. You shouldn't support companies that cave into these people. If they find that doing so is less profitable, if not outright financial suicide, then they might stop.

The Joker is still offensive to people with mental health issues.

So let's say for the sake of argument that I had a friend who suddenly went deaf and needs to communicate through sign language and I want to be able to talk to him. But since SJWs say learning sign language is a "slap on the face" to "deaf culture" or some bullshit like that, I can't talk to him because we'd essentially be trying to talk to each other from opposite sides of a glass wall.

What is with SJWs and their obsessions with keeping everyone and everything separate? Do they realize how ignorant they sound? And treating deaf people like they can't be part of the culture they were born into is jumping on the slippery slope if you ask me. What I'm taking away from it is that "I respect these cultures, which is why I want them to be kept separate and forbid anyone from showing any interest in them at all." Doublethink at its finest.
