Never Forget. This is the San Francisco Dream that they wish to force on everyone.

Been busy, doesn't seem like I've missed much, so I'll just summarise here:
- I have some Chinese apps, the virus is claimed to be at a downward trend, and these apps are trying to let me know via their daily notifications
- Of course during the outbreak, they are either silent or spreading "mask awareness"
- Seems like the world doesn't like how Japan is handling the situation, it's bad when Chinanet is saying that, but I don't really know, Chinanet seems to like Japan a bit now
- It's said that most of the donated masks from Japan actually comes from the Chinese diaspora
- Sydney academia on high alert with regards to the virus, I have friends telling me that they can get a free mask with staff ID, several sources
- Masks are basically on a shortage worldwide. China makes them all, now China needs them all. The parasites that buy up dozens of boxes to resell aren't helping either.
- CP+ (not that CP!), a tech show is cancelled due to the virus

Only patient in Tibet is cured. Good news I guess.

Time for some bloodshed...

State claims on 15th of Feb, "Disease prevention and control department upper manager Gao Fushe is being investigated for illegal activities".
Chinanet is mad because, "what did he do?" Seems like a lot of them want transparency now, this is a good thing. CCP will get far less hate if their one party system has speech laws that resembles Singapore.

Nice one...

The switch fitness ring is already being marked up by 200% in China, let's see it reach the price of a new Switch console.

Not much, some factories have started working again actually, 2 I'm in contact with started yesterday. I can't wait to see all the politicians being rounded up and how the state handles whatever officers/officials that arrested the 8 people for rumour spreading.

I've already said this a few times, but general consensus is: Floridachink.

The people reviewing the tape are recording it because they cannot fathom this dude's autism, either. Spitting on elevator buttons is not general Chinaman behavior. If the dude had let an angry old Chinese grandma or overworked Chinaman hillbilly seen him do this, he'd likely have gotten a bamboo stick across the face. Shit like this happens all the time in the US, too.
This reminds me, without getting into too much details, I know a guy in the US who has eaten bat meat at least twice in his live.

He was raised by boomer Louisiana grandparents who think eating random critters and turning them into gumbo makes you tough. Not like kids these days that think meat comes from grocery stores!

It made most other people uncomfortable though, despite it being Louisiana which is a weirder place than Florida. The exception being that the papaw also had some hunter friends who thought eating weird nasty shit like skunk and armadillo, the latter being the most nasty. He described them trying to impress the ladies with their hunting, when a lot of it was just them trying to impress each other and some of the ladies were just grossed out and didn't want to admit it.

This would have gone down in the 80s, but I would be shocked in no one in Louisiana has eaten a bat in the last five years.

What you see of China in a lot of videos seems to be the large number of crackheads and schizos they have out of their very large population. Assuming there are lots of authentic heartwarming videos, all we would do on the western internet is argue over whether they are CPP propaganda or not, mainly because there's always a good chance it could be if it somehow managed to reach us.

I do think that the Chinese are not as empathetic to one another as they should be due to the unhealthy parental image of the government, and abusive emotional dependence on these types of social structures. They have many terrible social problems and ethics that come from their semi-recent history.

...but I don't think it's in their blood to be bug people, boil dogs, or spit on things or anything. It's in their crappy social system, but underneath those chains there are normal humans wanting to be free and wondering why life sucks, and occasionally daring to ask themselves if people are really supposed to live this way :heart-empty:

Even though some people reject it, it is human nature to want to be free and love others, and neither an emotionally abusive society or the CPP can change that, just manipulate people or make them afraid.

Back to the flu and not me rambling about my feels and who knows what else, has anyone seen this yet?

I tried to make an archive but bloomberg crapped out on archive.net and I don't know a better way to do it so I'll just spoiler the text of the article:
China is administering its centuries-old traditional medicine on patients affected by the coronavirus disease, a top health official said.

Treatment in Wuhan hospitals combine Traditional Chinese Medicine, popularly known as TCM, and western medicines, said Wang Hesheng, the new health commission head in Hubei, the province at the center of the virus outbreak. He said TCM was applied on more than half of confirmed cases in Hubei.

“Our efforts have shown some good result,” Wang said at a press conference on Saturday, without elaborating. Top TCM experts have been sent to Hubei for “research and treatment,” he said.

Why Reports of Drugs for Coronavirus Are Premature: QuickTake

No drugs or preventives have yet been approved against the virus, which has already claimed the lives of 1,523 people in China and affected about 66,500 people.

Just weeks into the epidemic of the novel coronavirus, reports of treatments and vaccines against those infected have caused pockets of excitement. The first reported use of an experimental Gilead Sciences Inc. drug to fight the coronavirus has encouraged doctors to support further testing of the medication.

Some 2,200 TCM workers have been sent to Hubei, Wang said.

Wang is one of the officials at the forefront of an effort by Beijing to reset its approach to the epidemic, after anger grew across China at a lack of transparency throughout the crisis that has shut down large swathes of the economy. Earlier this week, China sacked the top leadership in the embattled province, including Wang’s predecessor.

Wang, who is also deputy head of the National Health Commission, was appointed a member of Hubei’s standing committee, the province’s top decision-making body. Days after his appointment, Hubei announced a shock adjustment in its method of counting infections to include those diagnosed with CT scans, a move that added nearly 15,000 cases to Hubei’s total count and dashed hopes the epidemic was coming under control.

Hubei has been decimated by the crisis and its medical facilities are at breaking point. While thousands of doctors have been sent from around China to the province to help and two new hospitals were built in a matter of days, it is still struggling with a shortage of supplies and medical staff. There are widespread reports of deaths in Hubei that could have been prevented, but weren’t due to a lack of adequate medical care.

"2,200 TCM workers have been sent to Hubei"
So China fired the old health officials and this new Wang dude is sending the TCM people in?

I too have often wondered why life sucks but I never wanted to torture and boil a live dog even if it pooed in the house. Nor did any exceptional hippies make me afraid or manipulate me when they said I had to love illegals rampaging through the city or else, I just gtfo.

Asia has a Buddhist tradition that considers all life scared but China rejected it. That's on them and we're right to call them out on it.

Seems like the world doesn't like how Japan is handling the situation

I have to admit I'm not really liking what I hear of Japan's efforts so far myself, given how the Diamond Princess situation is developing and we also get news like this:

Evidently they don't know how this guy got exposed either, and a previous patient at the same hospital has also been diagnosed with Wu Flu.

The fact that China's info about this virus has been untrustworthy from the word go is such a major complicating factor. I'm frustrated that Japan seems to be flailing a bit, but what country could realistically hope not to be caught flat-footed when the CCP sat on this for a month or more trying to study it and not caring that its people were possibly spreading it across the globe?

I'm trying to conjure a bigass :optimistic: in my head and hope Japan doesn't get too badly fucked over, because I'm still unsure whether the ACE-2 rumor has any truth to it and we all know Japan was already coming to grips with a population crisis before Corona Chan popped up.

The CCP numbers are definitely under-estimated, but they are the best we have. Even if the CCP is being truthful, their sources may be lying big time. So even if we're nice enough to give the benefit of the doubt, their numbers are under-estimated by fact and mathematics.

A good outcome would be the CCP regulating their shithole putrid wet markets.
A better one would be on top of regulating shithole markets, scrap those stupid rumour laws and hang all the politicians that were involved in underhanded shit.
The best one would be taking a step back, allowing free speech, and ridding the GFW for good. Do some revisionism on the Tankman stuff, it can go both ways, I don't care. Having to buy a vpn subscription there is autistic as fuck.

@Dunkirk accused me of being a Chinese shill for thinking this virus is exaggerated and blown out of proportion.
That's why 100% of news on China isn't trustworthy. People see this as some kind of false dilemma, "you're either against or for", it's legitimately stupid. For the virus, there's some stuff that the CCP handled very well in, there's also many major fuck-ups.
Most have never been to China, trust me, it's fine there.
Most Chinese have never been to America, trust me, blacks don't get shot down in the streets and Columbine doesn't happen every minute.

@Dunkirk accused me of being a Chinese shill for thinking this virus is exaggerated and blown out of proportion or thinking China is a threat (Taiwan is not even afraid of them). I'm only posting this here because he's sperging out on my page replying to his own posts and I'm not allowed to reply to posts on my page. I'm definitely not a CCP shill because I think the Chinese government itself participates in exaggerating and scaring the population over the virus to shut down dissenters and get an even tighter grip on the country. So in closing I do not work for the CCP and...
Blah blah blah
This is exactly what a Chinese operative would say. Thank you @Dunkirk for your service in keeping us all safe.

This isn't fake. I've seen stuff like with my own eyes. These pod apartments should just have public toilets, this is a genuine health and fire hazard. China has its share of sewage systems blowing up.

My dad told me his friend tossed a fire cracker into one of those sewage holes (manhole) at night, it results in several explosions along the way.
This happened some odd 40+ years ago in Shanghai.

People also steal the lids to sell for scrap metal before China started to use concrete instead.

Personally, I don't think China is the only country at blame for mishandling this. A lot of countries seem to be forgoing properly warning their people for what I can only guess are economic concerns. The fact that this virus has at times shown incredibly random incubation periods, and that it apparently can easily slip past many quarantine measures should be great reasons for alarm. Coupled with the fact that the Diamond Princess case indicates that the tests for the virus may not have great reliability.

It seems to me like there's a major disconnect between the experts whom are trying to warn people, and the various medias, and governments of the world whom just want things to be treated as business as usual.

Sperging aside - anyone find it a bit odd there hasn’t been anymore videos from Wuhan? I haven’t looked super hard, but checked Twitter for the usual people that have been posting stuff and nada. Regardless of the actual death rate of the virus having a town like that shut down, people dying trying to pass rice, crows coming out at night, etc... now it almost seems radio silence or maybe I’m too fucked up to find the sources.

There has been several actually. Just nothing noteworthy.
It's said that the virus is in a downward trend, so nothing dramatic has happened, proportionally there's less interesting stuff.
Also the CCP has been cracking down on several large forums with shadowbans. This thwarts the circulation of such videos.

Most groups I'm a part of stopped talking about the virus stuff. Yesterday was valentine's day memes.

The most annoying thing I've seen was this:

Pets being executed despite no evidence to support the claims of virus being passable to pets.
Video is gone.

Sounds like winnie the shithole is admitting to something:
To safeguard the people's health, protect national security, keep national order and harmony, (we need to) include biosafety in our national security system, systematically plan out the national biosafety risk prevention and management system, comprehensively elevate our biosafety management capability. (We need to) push forward ASAP biosafety legislation, speed up the creation of national system of biosafety laws and regulations, as well as their support systems.

I just hope he realized the importance of biosafety before this whole disaster.

No, not quite. I archived/uploaded that exact video yesterday:
Remember: do not wait for or expect someone else to archive these things. That goes for all you thread lurkers, too.

If he did, there will be no virus.
Honey is very clean you see, a good source of nutrients that taste great. His people though, would rather feast on pangolins and bats. Disgraceful.

See, there's this place called Chicago.......
That's nigs shooting nogs, aka every Friday, and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, weekends...
I'm talking about white cops gunning down totally innocent dindus, because George ZIMMERMAN is totally white.

No, not quite. I archived/uploaded that exact video yesterday:

Thanks! It's good to see outrage "the puppy was still wagging its tail, these people are disgusting" etc.
I hope the perpetrators get thrown in a mass grave. There has been at least half a dozen of these animal cruelty cases in (irrational) response to the virus. Fuck these people, those who would mercilessly kill pets are potential serial killers anyway, 1.4 billion minus 100 of them is still 1 point 4 fucking billion.
