I don't know about the others, but the top right is referencing a specific person. I don't recall the name, but the style is distinct enough that I can tell.

Anyways, this girl shouldn't be calling other's art ugly:

The top right one is Hajnarus. Her comics are really funny and cute. The hateboner for her recently started up when she got accused of transphobia (she made a comic where the joke was that Kakyoin had to go in drag like Joseph did that one time, because every instance of drag is a potshot at trans women apparently), but she brushed it off which only made the harpies more livid. She's ignoring them, though.

Yeah, I follow her on Tumblr. Her comics are pretty good. I know a couple of the other artists and it's like, they're mad that they like characters? And that they like JoJo as an adult despite it being an adult series? I don't get it.

There's a weird subgroup on tumblr of high school students who seem to think everything on the internet is for under-18 kids and should be completely safe for all sensibilities down to pre-schoolers. It's weird. They frequently have posts complaining that people don't put their ages in their profiles, so they know to avoid adults who are apparently all predatory, the adults point out quite reasonably that any predatory adult is not going to label themselves as such (other than the idiot MAPs).

Every so often there's another slapfight between the two groups. Apparently anyone over 18 cannot be a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, anime, video games, cosplay, etc. etc. etc.

Yet if they opened their minds and didn't assume old people are either out to get them or boring old boomers, they'd find things like eccentric grannies willing to knit, bake, and geek out.

Or tech-crazy uncles who like anime. Of course, this assumes functional eccentrics rather than lolcows in the first place.

So basically they thought Kids Next Door was a documentary.

This led me to google down a rabbit hole. I guess it's not going to happen:

Aphex Twin: "I don’t like them [Radiohead]. I heard maybe five or six tracks and I thought they sounded really really cheesy."

Interviewer: "Cheesy?"

Aphex Twin: "Yeah, really obvious and cheesy. I mean I’m just comparing it to my favourite music and I think it’s terrible compared to that. But compared to all the shit boring R&B tracks it’s probably alright. Compared to those teen punk sort of bands or whatever they are supposed to be called, who think that they are really anarchic and stuff like that, they are probably amazing. If you’re only exposed to that kind of stuff and then Radiohead come along you will probably think that they are geniuses."

That subgroup to me always struck me as the combined product of being extremely sheltered by helicopter parents, and seeing those relatively milquetoast Tumblr posts about being mindful that minors on the internet exist that they took to mean “teenaged minors should never have to take responsibility for anything they do and should be immediately catered to no matter what community they strut into”

The ones who say that all sectors of the internet should be aggressively kid friendly also tend to be the same ones who go around acting like little shits, but the second they mess with the wrong person or get in over their head they pull the “b-b-but I’m a MINOR” card. Which also means they hit a bit of a snag because they never seem to realize that the second they turn 18 their own clique will immediately cannibalize them.

What's cowardly about not being into a dominant female?

Meet the new (open-mouthed, patchy-bearded) face of masculinity, where you're not a real man if you don't want a woman to constantly push you around and destroy your pride at every turn.

Because they may say "dominant" but they mean "bitch".
