Honestly, I feel like I've seen this story posted in the r/assistance sub on Reddit (that sub is a fucking cesspool of scammers. The mods there are scammers, too, so they just let people grift and steal from well meaning redditors who are just trying to help.)

I can't seem to find the original posts on the legal advice subs. But the whole CP and MS, and the weeks w/o brushing teeth, etc. was hard to forget. IIRC, this person demanded to speak to the hospital administrator, and then rolled over his foot with their wheelchair. Does that ring any bells?

YES!! And I specifically remember the hospital administrator thing and wasn't it something about how they weren't providing adequate care and then wouldn't arrange accommodations for them to get home? And there was also mention of the transphobic father kicking them out.
