DSP truly believes that when he picks up a controller and simply plays a game, he is creating amazing art. It’s one of the many things about him that I truly can’t stand. He always bitches about how all the developers are fucking idiot morons, but HE’S the one who is truly creating the content, simply with his controller inputs, and his brilliant commentary, like “Look!”, “Whut thuh fuuuuck?” and “This game suuuucks...”

Dood if he doesn't press the start button nothing would ever happen. The controller is his brush he uses to paint on the canvas.

This is Phil "I never speak in absolutes" Burnell jumping the gun yet again. If the game comes out and Atlus says "go ahead stream however you want" it will just be another statement he'll either walk back or stick to in some sad attempt to display dignity It's entitlement and Phil isn't the only person it's coming from. Seen people use the word "draconian" to describe these rules that are set up for the Japanese release of a game. There is no guarantee these rules won't change when the game comes out in the west but they might not. Personally won't shed a tear if these let's players miss out on monetizing one game this year.

He also doesn't realize that this lie he's telling is worse than the truth. He's essentially saying that he's pissed off so many people that, while telling the story of one guy, someone else felt that it sounded so familiar he thought it had to be about him. Phil says GamerJLee is "so insane, taking this story as his own" when it's just a case of his awful behavior souring so many people towards him that their stories begin to sound the same.

Also, Phil's argument that "the guy"'s dislike of him is illegitimate because Phil hasn't done anything to him personally is fucking retarded. Are you only allowed to dislike someone if they've slighted you personally? Dictators, murderers, scammers, your general scum of the earth... sorry, unless they've affected you personally, you're not allowed to dislike them, according to the book of Phil! roll the tape of Phil trash talking dozens of people over the years who don't even know who he is

On another topic, watching Mighty D's last video, did DSP get a 400 person raid on his last Doom stream that he just ignored and hoped would go away like usual? That's hilarious.

Someone tipped\cheer\highlighted message him about it the next day, he said he does not see raid indicators on any of his monitors set up in his streaming area so he would essentially not know if you raided him with one person or 1,000,000 unless someone @ 's him with a message saying a raid is happening with X number of participants. He was also preoccupied with getting through a Doom 2 tightrope walk with no ammo and no health at the time so I kind of can give him some benefit of the doubt on it being truthful. He also claimed he doesn't care at all about viewership numbers even if there was a place for him to monitor that total easily during gameplay so it was a denial stacked on top of a debunking, in his mind, I guess?

There are at least two restreamers, Tevin and LSB, that constantly get more live views than DSP himself. Detractor recap videos get more views than all his day's Youtube videos combined.

At some point, a rational person would ask themselves "Why are restreamers getting more viewers than me? What are they providing their audience that I am not?"

Instead, DSP just writes them off as dumb fuck idiot troll kids and moves on with his life, making no efforts to improve his own stream because he's doing nothing wrong and in fact is doing everything correctly.

From what I've heard if you are banned in a streamer's chat, any accounts using your IP will also get banned in that user's chat. I think it's intended to prevent people from doing exactly what DSP trolls do, make new accounts over and over.

it also doesn't help that his tax bill from 2018 was $20,000, he went on a payment plan for $500/month and still has $15,000 left to pay

at this rate, he's paying $6000 a year, but his taxes are $20,000 a year, he won't make any progress making the minimum payments

indeed he is and eventually theres a tipping point.

what i dont get is he mentions the back tax amount and 20k sounds like a lot of money but its really not adding up. based on basic round about numbers taxes can take about 1/3 of ur total yearly income. if phil makes $100k a year he should be looking at around $35k in state and federal taxes per year. im not sure how he was able to write off so much income over those years of back taxes to reduce the amount he can be taxed for plus fees to only 20k. i know there are some very slick ways you can get around tax costs to reduce the amount you owe but the amount he would need to drop it down by seem impossible to me even with the most fiscally responsible folks. here are a few things we know:

1. he writes off his full internet costs (not allowed to do that because its not used only for his business)
2. he writes off his electricity costs for the whole house (we know this because he doesnt have any meters keeping track of ONLY the usage in that room)
3. he writes off cats video game playin room/bedroom as office space (cat isnt an employee of dsps biz so her use of the "office" would void out the business use aspect)

based on the many videos i have seen of him ranting and especially the ones of him trying to "teach" people how business life works i can only conclude hes majorly fudgin the numbers on his taxes. this also makes me wonder if he has a tax person doin his taxes because when u hire a tax pro to file for u most if not all give u some sort of guarantee that the filing is correct. this means the company puts their name on this and stands behind it if something goes wrong because of their mistake. no one in their right mind would put the name on a dsp tax return that cuts 100k worth of income down to damn near nothing. that just seems so crazy and very unlikely.

also to address somethin someone else posted.....dsp is correct when he said u have to pay taxes in advance. i dont believe him about the 1 year ahead of time part if he said that but he is right about payin in advance. u have to estimate the taxes per quarter and send them in on time.....if its less u get the diff back....if its more u pay the diff price. this also makes me wonder about his tax plan because when you get a plan u have to pay on time everytime otherwise the tax man will lay the hammer down but based on what i have seen dsp STILL isnt sending in the quarterly taxes which would immediately violate his tax plan.

all this makes me think there is much we dont know and this only supports the folks that say dont send him money even if its for trollin. if he doesnt want to provide proof of the things he wants folks to pay for him he doesnt deserve the money to pay them its that simple. if u really want to troll phil cut off your tips and cheers then and only then will the overinflated tax debt from the spikes in earnings consume him.

From what I've heard if you are banned in a streamer's chat, any accounts using your IP will also get banned in that user's chat. I think it's intended to prevent people from doing exactly what DSP trolls do, make new accounts over and over.

This is why I love how narcissists have no capacity for self reflection.

There are at least two restreamers, Tevin and LSB, that constantly get more live views than DSP himself. Detractor recap videos get more views than all his day's Youtube videos combined.

At some point, a rational person would ask themselves "Why are restreamers getting more viewers than me? What are they providing their audience that I am not?"

Instead, DSP just writes them off as dumb fuck idiot troll kids and moves on with his life, making no efforts to improve his own stream because he's doing nothing wrong and in fact is doing everything correctly.

The best part is how wide the numbers are. It would be one thing if dave had 400 views and tevin was maintaining like 500 or 600....but he’s not. He almost always has a thousand views on dark, and when we’re talking these low of number that gap is pretty telling.

Just look at his YouTube channel, his videos consistently struggle to break 1K views, with occasional exceptions that’ll make 3K or so views, but snorts channel gets consistently 7K views each video minimum.

Like it’s fucking clear as day people that dislike him dwarf his actual fanbase, yet every year he repeats that this was the year public opinion of him changed and people have come around to him.
