In other news, Atlus “changed” a cutscene in Persona 5R which made changed gay people into so called “enthusiasts” even though they still act gay. But he’s upset at this so called change because Atlus changed it which means that sjws did it. Speaking of which. I’m surprised he took a tweet from the Resetera takes account considering that the person in charge doesn’t like him.

To be fair to Atlus West Persona 5 garnered bad press because they decided to go with the "mincing pedo rapists" jokes and it's been a point of contention ever since Persona 5 came out. Lots of people didn't like it and I've talked to JRPG fans that stated they wouldn't buy the game because of those scenes. So I don't think that ResetEra was the only driving force behind it, it's been a hot topic for a while. If nothing else Atlus West was aware of it being contentious.

It's such a small localization change that I can't really bring myself to be mad about it, I'll still buy P5R and have a good time with the new waifu.

Sometimes companies base their entire product around it and a lot of times it fails. It's not anything new.

It's when you go so far as to put personal stakes into the success or failure of a product designed by a multi million dollar corporation for the sole purpose of making as much money as possible that you need to take a long, hard look at your life. That's as true for Billy and co as it is for all the spergs on the opposite side who consider seeing Disney movies a woke political statement.

I spend little enough on games that if I'm going to drop $59 on an AAA game it is not going to be one that has done anything that even remotely pisses me off.

People are free to buy or not buy whatever they want based on whatever criteria they choose.
