I tried turning off my adblocker to see them but my browser said it was blocking a "fingerprinter" as soon as I did. I could see the AdChoices arrow and a little X to close the window, but nothing in the window between those.

If the spousal abuse wasn't a reason for people to pull their patreon funding then this should be.

The fat idiot is given six figures a year, simply because he exists, on top of his already profitable forums and the first work he does in decades is to obnoxiously try and strangle pennies out of the userbase with 1999 era annoying popup advertisements on every forum page while demanding people work for free.

Yes. I'm sure that the bloated faggot that only exists to suck up money from the Something Awful Forums just accidentally changed a 1 to a 0 and blasted the site with aggressive pop up advertisements. Simple mistake. It is simply a coincidence that he is constantly demanding more and more money that is never enough.

If this follows the typical lowtax pattern he should crash into whatever thread is complaining about this, try to roll with the punches while claiming it's the advertisers fault then get pissed off and ban people and whine about how he is being punished for working on the forums and CAN NEVER MAKE GOONS HAPPY. Then he disappears until he wants more money.

I called that this is gonna happen in the Lowtax thread when bogan talked about talking to some internet ad agency. Didn't think it'd happen that quickly though.

This isn't even the first time this has happened (borderline malicious redirects etc. because lowtax doesn't give a shit about the forums as long as he can make $) - is it still verboten to talk about using adblock on something awful? Jeez goons, just go to reddit or something. You can talk about your dilation station/your wife's black bull there too and at least your browser doesn't get hijacked.

What ad platform did Bogan name drop she was signing SA up for on one of her business woman posts? No way a brand strategist like her would build a media kit to sell ads directly to SA’s very real niche demos so she just joined some cheap ass ad network scraping the bottom of the barrel with ads that use photoshopped fruits and ugly feet to sell scam cleanses and cures.

Lowtax will only stop the adapocalypse if the checks are puny. By the looks of the ads (and the goon click thru and impression rate) they will be very puny indeed.

OTOH it’s hard to believe Bogan would actually get the scammy ads up and running that fast. She’d need some access and serious assistance from Jeffery (or Lowtax) to do it too.
