A street walker also exploits herself and sells herself to the next John. The difference is one is dignified and the other is prostitution.
I'll admit that exploiting autism is less dignified than say, exploiting your bachelor's degree to get an office job, but to compare it to sexual exploitation is, as I said before, ridiculous. You find a quality within yourself that you can sell, and you sell it.
A girl as disabled as Abby fundamentally cannot consent, using her as a cashcow is admitedly morally gray. The family seems like Whitetrash, and I don't care to make excuses for them (especially not the father), but I don't agree with the sentiment that it is fundamentally wrong to make money off of (dare I say, exploit) someone's disability.
