Wrangler life is hard! Boohoohoo. /powerlevel

Lol, well i used to be a wrangler, i do teaching work now in schools like where Abbie goes, so no im not
just stopping kids from smashing their head in walls and drinking out of toilets. I'm not gonna battle back and forth with you questioning my ability to do my own job tho. In special schools it's not just the teachers doing the teaching, us aids have to be very much involved in helping the students in doing their work and following their educational plans.
How does it help? By teaching you about yet another way someone's autism presents. You can work in the field for 60 years and still meet a new kid who behaves completely differently. I want to know your own experience on the topic, since you're so sure on Abbie being one step above being a slightly sentient potato? Do you work in SPED? Or maybe studied it? I'm interested, since it's out of my league to talk about it. I'd be tempted to just assume, by your posts, that you know nothing at all since you think everything she does is just a stim and not a way of trying to communicate what she wants. But what do I know right, im just a wrangler turned SPED teacher's aid. It's not like some of us actually get training to do our jobs, like on appropriate behaviour management, child development and the importance of safeguarding kids from being exploited and abused by care givers. Just because you don't need formal qualifications to work in this field doesn't mean people don't actively study to make sure they're doing the best job they can.
I take my work seriously, because when you actually work with kids that have CPS involved in their care due to people in their lives abusing them, past or present, you have to be very much on the look out for everything and anything that could point to abuse. When kids come in constantly dirty and unkempt, or have suspicious bruises, or even have behaviours already flagged up as some form of sexual risk because someone decided to take advantage of having a sped child and rape them when they were younger, you take people saying "hey this family is exploiting and maybe abusing their disabled child on youtube" pretty seriously. So, again I ask you why you're also so qualified to talk about this? If you're gonna shit talk my job I think it's only fair I get a chance to know yours.
And yeah i didn't mention it because I know nothing about it, I said the parents may be shitty people but I care about the kids more than anything. I'm specifically talking about how they are treating their daughter since if they were abusing her in any way I would want to do everything I could to make sure that kid is safe and cared for. That might sound dramatic, but some people in this line of work actually really care about the people they work with and the idea of someone exploiting and abusing their kids online for fame and money is some blood boiling shit.
Talk all you want about Asa being a piece of shit. I said past behaviour referring to the fact he had a criminal record mainly, but that's all I said on the matter when it came to him. If he owes child support, he should pay it, that's a no brainer. I didn't think I needed to elaborate much on that because it was pretty obvious. I literally ended my first post with "i wasn't saying they don't need a thread," because this is the farms- it's for drama and gossip. But some people here talk like this family is gonna be the next Hartley Hooligan troop/ Schofield squad or something with how they treat Abbie, and I don't agree with that.
