I don't doubt that Morgan and Laurie are the type to steal medications, either. Laurie seems to revel in the role of "dutiful" mom to a "dying" child. I have to wonder how many of their followers are there just to watch the trainwreck? Some people are stupid enough to believe them, which is just :wow: I remember them trying to start a hashtag and harassing the Brain on Fire author to help Morgan.

At the rate they're going, I wonder if she'll eventually meet Jacquie's fate by munching herself to death? All the bullshit she's put her body through is bound to catch up with her someday.

I kind of want to follow Morgan's antics on FB but I'd be mortified to be associated with that on a personal account and making a fake account is effort. Maybe someday. But I'm surprised Morgan's dad has stuck around, honestly. He and the brother seem to be over the bullshit.

Gonna guess they skimmed 1 page of Jaquie's thread and found something to support their argument that we're a bunch of ethical black holes, as per usual. i did get something of a mention - I'm the reason PW banned links to Jaquie's funeral. Also was the only time I ever posted on that sub under my regular handle. Shame they deleted all the comments where we were mocking PW's 12 bouts of sepsis.

But what can an animal so small as a rabbit even perform thats remotely helpful? It's not like it can get you to quit hitting yourself or whatever.

Interestingly, even though they have had this conversation before, only now does George assent when Lennie asks him if they can have rabbits — a recurring symbol in the book — on the farm. Given that he is about to shoot Lennie, this juxtaposition implies that, for the characters in "Of Mice and Men," the more they hope to attain in the real world, the further from it they must travel.
