Furry Fandom and Drama General

Update for Andrew's 'tism, (Stixil) he has decided to quote-tweet the thread he already responded to just to summon his army of Furfags. He's also having issues with anger management apparently. Is it really so far-fetched to believe this sperg has a heap of mental issues to virtue signal with?

Also quick response to Claude seen as he posted this as I was writing this one, and wouldn't want to double-post.
A little bit of off-topic regarding what has already been discussed until now.
But how did furries went all communist/leftist crazy over the years? What's the source of their desire to "kill the rich"?

Good thread here to read up on: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/leftist-communist-antifa-furry-general.33353/

The general thing I think is that most Furries are repressed, young men who are looking for a community to fit into. The Left-wing side of social media has always been stronger than the right, and with the amount of crusading and ousting done many of them fall into left-leaning echo chambers. People like Deotasdevil, Vexwerewolf and more call out things constantly, and its easy to get on board with something like that as a part of the mob.

Whereas on the other side you have... Foxler.... yikes. You can see why.

Over time the community radicalizes further than call-outs, de-platforming and calls for "Eat the rich" "Guillotine the Rich" and as you saw earlier in this thread targeting random dudes on Twitter that happen to have their own earned money to spend. See here -> https://kiwifarms.net/threads/furry-fandom-and-drama-general.1102/page-751#post-6039679

And, once again, I say:
I don't want to pay any fucking union dues, no voting for HEAD FURRAY, no picketing anti-furry anything, if furry starts creating unions I'm so fucking out. Besides, they're gonna have some real fun interacting with hotel unions at conventions.
Lmao, i can't wait to see that play out given what happened at rainfurrest, which I am sure is but a small sample of the shit furries have been pitting hotel staff through over the years.

Aren't unions frequently abused by people with an agenda rather than enforce change that is actually needed?

Oh yeah, much like a lot of other aggregations of authority and bureaucracy except worse because in all honesty the labor unions are never quite where people with the intellect and political acumen tend to be the majority. Allowing malevolent actors (like the Irish mob) with such acumen or intellect to "renegotiate" (usually with the questionable application of a crowbar) the "terms" (where the fucking money actually ends up.)

Today in the A&H subforum, a flayrah article called do furries need to unionize is a thing.

The real question is why does there need to be a furry union when most furries are "self employed" or working real jobs that aren't furry related?

How many furries are willing to pay extra money for unionized art, products, conventions, etc, especially we live in an era where there are many artists on many platforms out there that offer bargain prices? Most furry-owned small businesses would likely either raise their prices on products that could turn away customers in favor of non-unionized products, or end up cutting workers' hours or even lay off workers.

As you said, most furry artists already independently sell commissions without a union middleman.

Don't most furries make their paychecks by sitting at home drawing cartoon animal porn? How would you even unionize something like that?

Speaking of furry union bullshit, this popped up at the start of February: a website to unionize furry DJs.

FurryDJUnion (Archive)
Twitter (Archive)

The site thinks furry DJs should be given "protection" by furcons such as paid rooms, covered registration costs and membership levels.

You'll see familiar garbage like HYENABLOOD/edgedestroys talking about how it's important furry DJs have unions. When it's really them wanting to be treated as real music artists for the sake of feeding their ego.

I'm guessing it's time this nutbar had a Farms thread of his own, Stixil Fox is clearly an exceptional individual.

This is a disaster just waiting to happen... Lol and important faces? Don’t forget about James Hoyt.. he’s probably a supporter of this too.. from my research about the fandumb and with a majority of these “djs” and these “fursuiters” being found out to be animal abusers, sexual abusers, and just overall savage degenerate invalids they are probably seeking an outlet away from the “fursecution” and what better way then to start some type of “union”. lol. I mean of course it doesn’t change who they are but on a very good note it does make it easier when things implode, they are all bunched like grapes! This is gonna be fun guys!

The article author is the guy you always see on furry news site comment sections with blazingly exceptional takes. So him writing this screed? Yeah.

Don't need a union to bunch them together. They already do that by calling themselves furry DJs. Showing off their hilariously bad music and talking about the struggles of being a scam music artist. C'mon you capitalist pig, they gotta put food on their plate and booze to drink.

I looked up the entry requirements for the Furry Writers' Guild

Membership Requirements
You can join as a full member if you meet one of the following requirements:

  • You’ve had one short story, poem, or novel published in a paying qualifying market
  • You’ve had two short stories or poems published in a non-paying qualifying market
  • You’ve had a self-published work sell 25 or more copies priced at 99¢ or above within a 12-month period
  • You’ve had a self-published work net $200 or more in author earnings within a 12-month period

Uhhh. This is bottom-of-the-barrel numbers.

They also have to buy dogs to rape.

Andrew certainly is exceptional, he's currently a bit drunk on popularity by spouting vitriol against "Popufurs", when ironically, he is one himself by definition.

Stixil dude's become a hotheaded hypocrite with anxiety and mental problems.
He claims to have been physically and sexually abused by an ex-girlfriend, leaving him mentally scarred.

social media has probably made him this way to begin with, also, isn't it odd that there are no tweets before 2015?
