Especially if it causes a recession. One of trumps main talking points is the economy and even though a recession caused by Corona shutting down chinas industry would prove that globalization isn't the best solution it would still be blamed on trump. Scarily enough it may actually be the push Bernie needs to beat trump since a recession and a possible pandemic would cause people to look to the government to solve it.

The Dems came out against quarantine. Trump is the only one trying to institute travel bans and quarantine procedures. If it gets worse in places like California that refused to comply, it will prove him right.

Part of the reason for the sell off is Bernie getting the lead. People are selling off medical and insurance shares because the Commie won't shut up about nationalizing healthcare.
