Apparently the last name change thread ended up in someone being named "Cuntellectual", which is kind of hilarious considering how horrified and offended people seem by the name.

Every single person I've know IRL that was diagnosed with it ended up having furry, polyamory, MPD, and "too sick to work, not sick enough to not party" syndrome.

It isn't to say that all fibromyalgia cases are fake - but people looking to fake an ailment are drawn to the nebulous, unprovable nature of fibro.
