I didn't miss the humor but I took the post as essentially serious. No doubt he will set me right. Many a truth, etc.

I've been in a similar position: found someone very attractive, shared pictures, etc. but being presented with the sensory armada of a real life encounter was too much for me (an overwhelming sense of "wrongness") with something very deep in my brain rebelling without exactly telling me why.
