I doubt very much that Abrams changed entire sets for a FUCKING PROP!

I dunno. I've heard for years that the sets for The Phantom Menace were raised by six or seven inches to accommodate Liam Neeson, since he's so tall. It's not exactly Michael Cimino-ish to imagine Abrams did something similar to make way for an exciting new puppet, especially considering one of the chief goals of TFA was to get back to practical effects.

Yeah, but those are two different issues. What Robert was talking about accessibility for the wheelchair bound, so, you know, you have to build ramps, change doors, adpat dressing rooms and restrooms and change a lot of other things to make it a viable working place for the disabled.

You don't need any of that for a prop. What Abram probably changed was to make set wider to shoot the ball moving around... and even so, I don't think he needed to change much.

Other than that, what the fuck they needed to adapt for the ball? Acess ramps for what, you can just pick the thing and place in the set. It's just a prop.

Where have you heard that Robert? Because the "robot", unlike a disabled actor, can be just picked up and set in front of a camera... it was the size of a soccer ball for christ sake.

And even if Abrams is such a exceptional diva that he thinks that his prop needs to maneuver itself to their dressing room (the fuck?), that doesn't justify the rising the cost of smaller productions that work with whatever sets and props they can get a hold of. Sad truth is, film making is expensive, adapting sets for disabled actors is a cost that can be simple to avoid by just getting abled ones, and so productions will do that.

It's cool if you wanna advocate for disabled actor to have more opportunities, but don't bring such a bullshit story as a "see guys, it can be done", you smug ass.
Yeah, the only story I've heard was that when Liam Neeson was hired for SW 1, it was like a little over 100k to make the sets taller to accommodate Liam's height.

...Oh, that.

Handicapable John Wick is yet another billion dollar idea from the Lord of Lynn.

And he brings in Star Wars to talk about accessibility?

I do not know why they would need to budget and/or rebuild sets because of actors with disabilities unless this "respectfully-produced modern feature" is gonna go down the Tiptoes route. Now that I've said that I really want this movie to be made.
EDIT:
I can't believe I forgot to put this in. I both own and have seen The Cripple Masters and in it the guy with no arms Voltrons with the guy with no legs with a makeshift harness that pops out of no arm's back. No arms kicks from the front and no legs punches from the back. At one point in the movie, I shit you not, no legs butt stomps a guy to death like he's Mario 64. I have no idea how you would make something like this even remotely respectful in Bob and his ilks eyes. It like saying "How do you do persons of color and fellow white people. I'm going to be doing a tasteful remake of Boss Nigger that is completely respectful and in line with our modern values and stays true to the source!"
Severe autism. That's how you watch something like that and decide it's respectful while running with crowds who get offended over nothing. Or sociopathy. Either way, it's obvious that Robert's concepts of what is and isn't acceptable or offensive come entirely from poorly mimicking others.

Kind of off topic but that whole plot synopsis reminds me of a Lloyd in Space episode where the kid who's the brain and the strong, dumb kid "combine" together to be more successful. Then they become bullies and borderline child criminals, until they separate and go back to normal at the end. I think it was going for a moral of "be yourself" or "you're fine the way you are" but the moral accidentally came across as "being both smart and physically strong makes you evil" which was really funny to me.

I wonder what Bob would make of that episode? On one hand, the idea of a smart person being bad goes against his beliefs about brainland, while on the other he's pretty big on denigrating physical strength.

But along with that, Iger has caused Disney to skyrocket it’s debt to $52 billion. So with the next CEO, I can definitely see them selling off parts of the company they don’t need (like Muppets or A+E Networks). I could say Fox since they’ve so far shown to not be invested in it, but they I realized no one wants to be their gutted Fox studio now.

Considering that's what Chapek did to the parks while he was head of that division, it's very, very likely that he's gonna cut, scrimp, and reduce.

Man, junk food and liberalism really fucked up his body.

Like I said, I can definitely see them getting rid of useless parts like The Muppets (something Disney hardly uses now) and their 50% stake in A+E Networks. But I think Iger is apparently training him, though with Chapek wanting to run this his way, I think those two will be at odds with each other.

Filmrobbie has this irritating tendency to make it seem as though his enjoyment of disposable media is some kind of morally heroic act, and he just happens to like it more because of some neutral metric like diversity or leftist political screeds. Case in point:

I can’t imagine a world where a five year old boy likes an animated toy advertisement better because of diversity. He’s both asserting his shitty childhood taste as “morally correct” AND doing the thing where checkmarks make up a story about how their kids spout leftist talking points, except since he’s Bob and has never once had sex, he has to make up stories about his own childhood.
However as an ex-five year old I have an idea why Bob might actually have been interested in a scantily-clad redhead at that age, and certainly why he’s “bringing attention to marginalized voices” today. The only voice being amplified is his lard-enveloped, horribly friction-burned coomnozzle crying out in pain as he jackhammers it once more with his greasy, 300-pound benching sausage fingers.

This means, in one tweet, Bob has been able to capture almost all facets of his shit-tier personality:
1. A Male Feminist Simp who bows down to the every demand of women
2. A coomer/degenerate sex pest who only interacts with women to rub his chub
3. A consoomer who bravely views the “right” products
4. A self-congratulating bullshitter

All he needed was ONE mention of the Superior Future and we could’ve had BINGO

Is it fair to say, Bob "It's progressive to sexually objectify women no matter your age or if you have the ability to understand it" Chipman? While I don't have the answer I'ma say yes.

No no no, you’re missing the key variable here. It’s progressive for Bob to sexually objectify women, because he’s a Good Person (tm) and his creepy ogling is the only way to save marginalized women from...not starring in shitty movies?

Basically he’s Harvey Weinstein without the money, connections, or the intelligence to shut the fuck up every once in a while.

That's because other than vomiting on Twitter 24/7 and producing shit-tier video essays, Bob doesn't do anything. Anyone who worships media the way Bob does is ultimately a completely passive individual. His passivity is so profound I think it's part of the reason he looks with such disdain on farmers and blue collar types. Bob is much too enlightened for such drudgery.
