I actually have a theory at least a portion of this stuff started from anti-sjw trolls on tumblr way back in like 2013 and a bunch of impressionable 14 year olds took it at face value and it just snowballed from there. People in their 20s - 30s followed suit because minors online basically overthrew social media hierarchy a couple of years later.

The echo chamber does more than reinforce your beliefs, it makes you comfortable talking about your insane in-group beliefs without contemplating the audience.

"Being" a woman isn't at all what they're seeking, anyway.
They want to "become" a woman. Feel the sensation of increased helplessness, even if it's imagined. Become a sissy, become dumber, become weaker. Transgress and be humiliated. Change into the wrong underwear. Go into the rooms and space they're not supposed to be in.
If they were women from the start that would be boring. It's like bondage without the ropes. So you're just getting fucked in the ass for nothing.

"And I'm part of something for the first time in my life" screams of some poor, socially stunted guy transitioning to become socially accepted and instantly getting a sense of community and camraderie where he couldn't ass himself to go outside and do something outside of his comfort zone for once in his life.

This is the problem with progressive activists trying to side with troons and Muslims at the same time. Muslims are extremely socially conservative, whereas troons are... well, troons. You have two options: side with Muslims on behalf of religious freedom, thereby siding against the LGBT, or side with the LGBT and acknowledge how archaic a lot of Muslim values are.

Yeah, it's possible they just moved him to a different department or branch, but that's kind of optimistic. People get fired for saying no to trannies all the time. OP never specified what kind of work he did, but I'll bet dollars to donuts it was some kind of computer science shit, which makes the situation even worse for the Muslim guy.

Ah yes, the autist in women’s clothing. Moderate autists suck at socializing and are obsessed with categories. One such category is sexed roles - men must x and women must y and anything that breaks the rule = extreme confusion and discomfort. Since autists are typically unmasculine men, they decide they must be trans women and derive succor from mimicking females. Being socially stunted just emphasizes how hilariously terrible they are at it. Throw in some auto erotic gratification and bam, loony troon. They have 10x the rate of gen pop autism for a reason.

(kiwifarms has 20x the rate of autism. Instead of being obsessed with being troons, we are obsessed with watching them.)

This reminds me a lot of the deaf community. When asked whether or not they'd accept a surgery that would allow them to hear, some would say "no" since being deaf is an identity to them. However, unlike the trans community, they don't have a say as to whether or not they are deaf to begin with.

It really is like a frigging cult. I heard a TERF call it "gender scientology" once and it's so fitting. And just like all cults, they eat their own constantly, so enjoy it while it lasts. The woke protocols change so fast it's almost guaranteed you'll step out of line at some point. It's one of the most dysfunctional communities I've ever seen.
