Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

The coronavirus thread was being shit up by the Doomers long before that.

Speaking of which, how will the media react to Trump's talk about it in an hour?

Real question here, the funding he took away wasn't focused on how to deal with outbreaks right? wasn't it entireley focused on supplying funds to other countries? I could be wrong but the CDC is still around and wouldn't of helped any more than what it is doing now even if it did have the funding.

Also they are already doing a fucking awful job about corona at the CDC they are actively shipping patients around the country to quarantine them in populated areas, they can't keep their numbers straight, and for some reason they think a golf course is enough space to quarantine someone. Not to mention that they can't seem to keep up to date with the most recent updates about the kung flu. I don't Know it feels like they are about as effective as the WHO.

Well speaking of the coronavirus, I just like to say is this an example of the Trump Curse? Because I think it is.

So this was a while ago.

This is now.

I just want to know why I can’t block the police officer who wrote me the speeding ticket as a witness like how foghorn leghorn did.

No matter your political affiliation, you have to admit that blocking witnesses with relevant testimony in any other courtroom proceeding is witness tampering plain and simple.
The only ones blocking witnesses were the Dems. When the Republicans said they wanted to hear testimony from the alleged whistleblower directly they refused.

What are you talking about? Motions-in-limine to exclude witness testimony are extremely common, and are usually granted if rules of evidence allow it. It isn't witness tampering, it's a common litigation tactic used by every single lawyer.

There's blocking and then there is what the republicans did which was decide not to bring in more "witnesses" that would just delay the farce. I get it not many people know how the legal system works, you make your case and collect all your information before presenting it and going to court. It's on you to provide testimony and evidence for your case not your opponents. Also it is very rare for new information to be brought up once a case is in trial. I get it the media said the reps blocked them but all the rep's did was decide to not use their time to bring in witnesses the democrats didn't think were good enough to bring up in their time.

To use your metaphor that be like the cop complaining that you didn't track down the people that were driving around you during the time of the ticket to see if any of them had a dash cam. Then claiming you are blocking them by not letting randos claiming to have seen you driving use your time to incriminate you.

Second the testimony wasn't relevant it was hersay and if it is solid enough they can impeach him again and actually bring in the evidence this time. Please don't parrot talking points when you have no idea how the system works.
Are you a lawyer? Cause I’m not.
Every freaking rep from both sides got to go up and give their speech which was a colossal waste of time in itself so what’s one more witness? Bolton claimed to have first hand knowledge so why not hear him out? Just as the officer in my reference would obviously have firsthand knowledge of the crime I committed.

But yea there’s a lot about courtroom procedures I don’t know. In high school I was too busy having to learn useless shit like fractions and Shakespeare rather than how to do my own taxes, how to close sales on real estate and something so much more crucial to the American culture (its legal proceedings).

But I guess if they taught basic law in high school, then prosecutor’s conviction rates would go down and people wouldn’t need to hire attorneys for some of the more simple cases.

They are morons as well. Trump does have a right to face his accuser(s).

I'm going to prefect my post with this. I was not trying to imply you are stupid nor that I am some intellectual it's just that people tend to repeat what they are told by an authority and in this case the authority is lying. They are expecting the average man, who doesn't understand how the legal system works, to just trust them. I'm Not a lawyer, just taken enough business law classes and helped out with enough contracts to know how basic litigation goes. As to bolton, his first hand knowledge is hearsay he had no recordings, no evidence, just what he claims to have witnessed. Combine this with the "tell all" book and you realize Bolton would just geting on stage to advertise his new fantasy novel.

As for your statement "Every freaking rep from both sides got to go up and give their speech which was a colossal waste of time in itself so what’s one more witness?" There's a few things wrong with it.

First if bolton was important enough the dems would have included him initially they didn't they, left him out and only wanted him on when the other people they picked didn't get the wanted results.

Second what's one more whitness? don't act like it would have just been one they wanted to bring in three at the least and it's fucking easy to get someone who hasn't been within a mile of trump in their life to say they personally experienced what he did.The argument what's one more not only falls into the sunken cost fallacy but never runs out. There would always be one last witness.

Third these things cost money to run so extending it isn't a good way to spend taxpayers money.

Finally if Dr., I am consistently proven wrong and can't even get the year the assault happened right, ford should have proven anything it's that the democrats will bring out any witness on no matter how crazy or nonsensical their stories are. Combine that with the medias ability to turn any crazy statement into a "fact backed up by a reliable source" and it kind of makes sense for the republicans to stop the democrats from using the impeachment trial to spread more conspiracy theories.

This was a shit show from start to finish but the media acted like it wasn't the republicans understood how long the dems would draw it out and how the media would paint the event so they decided not to extend it. THEY DID NOT BLOCK ANY WITNESSES. They decided not to use their time to extend the democrats rantings and accusations. It's fake news that lives because it sounds horrible and is on a subject very few people understand.

As for the metaphor it's an imperfect one because the officer would have a dash cam and records of what you did to back up his statement, bolton didn't have either and would have just claimed he saw something. Honestly the better metaphor would be somebody suing you for hitting their car and demanding you to bring up a rando during your court time to incriminate yourself. Also the rando was no where near you when the incident happened, they actively hates you, is trying to sell a book where they tell about all the times you've broken the law even times where it is impossible for you to have done claimed action, their time was spent brining up people who coudln't prove anything and were no where near the scene of the incident, and to top it off you scratched their bumper and their claiming you totaled it.

Because it was a further waste of time and taxpayer money, and wasn't their job. The senate looks at what was put forth by the house and the house had nothing but partisan REEEs. Bolton knew fuck all and only made a fuss later in order to promote his super secret "what trump really meant" knowledge to get a better book deal. The democrats could have followed the correct impeachment proceedings and then their house subpoena to Bolton wouldn't have had to be withdrawn, rather than the likely outcome of it being shot down by court challenge.

It's pretty obvious that the D's wanted a partisan neverending circus all the way up until elections in order to further their narrative of orange man bad. They could have followed procedure, but instead stamped their feet, threw tantrums at every step of the way, and then (of course) blamed Trump for their fuckups.

And that's why some others leftists quits the left.

I just watched this last night. This story was all too familiar to me. I went from being a liberal to being a moderate. Thing is I don't think it's my politics that changed but the left's.

Looking at it from a practical mindset, isn't it a better idea to keep those posters "contained" (out of sight, out of mind)?

Actively fucking with how the subreddit operates or shutting it down will cause the "wrongthinkers" to spread out across Reddit.

This is definitely going to backfire on them. Be interesting to see how.

I’ve been debating this with myself and my wife for some time. I’m at the age where you’re able to express your core values (you’ve always had them just not able to articulate them due to lack of exp IMO) and I still feel the same way about social issues as I did when I was 18. It wasn’t until I wrote a representative of mine about a bill I disagreed with. I included stats from the FBI and other sources and got sent back a form letter addressing literally 0 of what I wrote about. I called his office and told his secretary that I felt incredibly disrespected and would never vote for him or a democrat again because of this.

It wasn’t just that exact issue but that was my tipping point. I tried to engage my representatives and the Ds either ignored me or sent me form letters while the Rs actually wrote me (or a staffer regardless) letters addressing each item I brought up. I had noticed that in my life I’ve seen Americans freedoms dwindle and the bill of rights might as well be toilet paper at this point. So, while I may not agree with everything from the republicans (you’re not going to agree with anyone 100% of the time) I’m voting straight R for the foreseeable future.

Until the DNC stops trying to pass laws that disregard due process, pass hate speech laws, and various other laws that I and many legal people consider unconstitutional then fuck them. My views didn’t change the party did and I can’t wait to vote for trump this year.

haha she and others like her can get fucked, they are the people who had normalised the lunacy she now moans about
if this abuse had been targeting only conservatives and not people like her, she'd be perfectly happy with it, but now that she got pushed down in the progressive stack she suddenly sees the evils of cancel culture and left piling on on everyone with "wrong" opinions

I feel the same way about feminists/TERFs and tranoids.

They created an environment where women have not only the social privilege of being desirable but every conceivable institutional privilege a person could have, from economic to academic, and they have the gall to get mad when men try to game the system to get a little food out of their trough. I think trannies are disgusting, but what did they expect when they made "women" a class protected from all punishment while also calling for the abolition of gender roles? That men would just not try to abuse that?

They could have, Bolton went to the DC courts and asked "Hey the Democrats want me to testify, Donald doesn't want me to do that..what should I do? I will do whatever you say I should do."

and what did the Democrats do? They Withdrew the request. They had a chance for a day in court and decided to chicken out because they didn't want precedent set.

Trump's approval level is more higher.

These comments posted by these Youtubers was worth to save for posterity.

Amazing, how destructive 'social justice' was to the people that endorsed and thrust it upon society. Never has an ideology been so thoroughly rejected by the masses, only to turn inward upon itself and destroy its creators. There's only so many times you can double down, confident that the rest of the world will come around to seeing things your way. The levels of failure were epic and eventually complete. When they should've been grooming a viable candidate, they were being moral busybodies and weaponizing identity politics. Ultimately, this worked out so badly for the Left that the party is now a shell of itself, and is poised for a brutal defeat and ignominy. claps Nice work, Lefties. You did this to yourselves. Tell us again how many things white people ruined in 2020... Oh, wait - are those kind of articles not popular any more?

John Smith
I love how leftists dismiss this news as false but when you point that AOCs approval rating in her own district is below 20%, they say oh doesn't matter approval ratings mean nothing, she'll get re elected.

Well it’s all over now. Get ready for 4 more years of trump because all the dem hopefuls blow. Not one decent moderate.

That’s what frustrates me about the democrats, they just refuse to let up on just a few issues that would assure them victory if they did.
I think a sure victory relies on a little more than "just a few issues". I think you seriously underestimate ow popular Trump is outside the MSM, committed lifelong Ds, and the bigoted SJWs and university crowd.
