A question popped into my head that I'm not sure has been addressed. @SoapQueen1 @AnOminous If he gets put in Chapter 13, does the trustee get to see all the comings and goings of his Paypal account and lock it down so he can't touch his paypig money without authorization from said trustee?

he needs bank statements for the 341 meeting, but he'll pigsplain each transaction

the only thing he could get caught out on is some autistic IRS auditor who will want years of receipts and even then dsp will only get a slap on the wrist for shit tier book-keeping

he has defaulted on his 2018 tax plan, he'll be defaulting on 2019 tax plan, I just wonder how long they will put up with that nonsense

I think an audit might be the next arc after whatever happens with the bankruptcy

Chapter 13 would be a living hell for DSP. He’d be placed on a payment plan and given strict discretionary spending limits. There wouldn’t be three adult meals out at chain restaurants every day off and definitely no extensive gacha spending. The most onerous effect would be that while under the BK court’s purview, the trustee must approve any new debt. Phil would being extra salty about this. “The idiot detractor trustee wouldn’t approve my loan request for a real adult honeymoon. I’m also letting my guild down by not pulling my weight during this special event. Fuckin’ moron...”

Phil doesn't seem to have any intention on limiting his spending right now, so I doubt he'll do that if his bankruptcy gets changed to Chapter 13.

"Ma, I wanted to follow the 10 year plan but this fucking idiot judge made me sell muh house!"

I still love how his 10 year plan is to get a part-time job in 2030.

Especially one that, by his own theory, will make less money than just sticking to full-time streaming. Because he'll still be making $10K/month playing video games in 2030.

The idea of getting a full-time job and streaming part-time isn't part of the plan.

He will have or he will 100% fail his payment plan. The Ch. 13 process works by using the petitioner’s income to approve a payment plan which repays included debts as much as possible and still allows the household to function. This court-imposed budget isn’t that terrible, IMO, to a debtor who honestly wants to get out from under his or her debts and can afford to do so. There’s a little wiggle room included for dinner out once in a while or a bit of fun spending. But to an out-of-control spender who is used to unfettered instant gratification, it seems like torture. Bankruptcy is supposed to allow honest but unfortunate debtors to obtain a clean financial slate so they can achieve long term goals like saving for retirement or eventually buying a home. Phil sees it as an opportunity to free up thousands of dollars monthly for real adult purposes like hitting up Disneyland and whaling on WWE mobile games.

Now I don't have a full adult degree in finance, but do you really think there's any better plan than that for Dave? Investing in a career only makes sense if that investment can pay off. For a guy with no job skills, no people skills, and no prospect of that changing, do you think that's likely? He'll most likely be working the retail/grocery circuit forever once streaming dries up.
If anything, he should be continuing to stream as much as possible, saving every penny for the long winter ahead, and just riding it into the ground.
I'd say it might even be smarter to try sending Kat to college and seeing if she can start a career and become the breadwinner, but that has obvious issues of its own.
"My horse is gone!"

The problem with that plan is that 10 years from now, his streaming revenue will probably (who the fuck knows with him) be zero, so his full-time adult job will be the majority of his income.

His degree is worthless now, but it's not nothing. Let's pretend one of us switched bodies with DSP (gross I know) because his primary fault is his laziness. He needs to continue to stream while he can, but at the same time either take some certifications or go to some sort of community college for an advanced degree. Basically, pretend like he's 19 again, update his education, and maybe get an entry-level job to get something on his CV. Stream at night because he'll still be able to make a lot of money from his paypigs working 6-9 pm.

But no, he works 12 hours a day according to him, so he has no time to go back to school.

If I were Phil, I'd stream around 15-20 hours/week and live a very comfortable NEET lifestyle and probably still have enough savings to rely on for many years.

It doesn't matter what Phil does if he doesn't learn to stop being so dumb with money. He's the guy that could make millions/year and find ways to cripple himself in debt.

DSP could do nothing but pre-stream every day for an hour and he'd still make like $6K/month. He could use the rest of his day to get some entry level job for minimum wage anywhere and move up from there to a combined income higher than he has now by the time his Chapter 13 plan is over.

Instead he'll do DSP stuff.

He wouldn't make nearly that much without all the constant drama surrounding him. If all his detractors vanished tomorrow it's all over.

People don’t learn until their enablers stop. So until his wheelchairs stop hurling insane amounts of cash at him he will continue to be a financial self destructive cunt rag.

Only Dave can hype ''pay my tax filing!'' with his autistic fake fun twitter format.
