When someone says someone or some organization/whatever is "ten feet tall", they mean that person/organization is far superior to anyone else. When someone says someone or some organization/whatever has "feet of clay", they mean that person has their failings, just like anyone else or any other organization/nation. My saying China has feet of shit means that not only is China not perfect or superior, but they have some very serious problems.

Russia just bombed Turkish soldiers killed aprox 60+
Turkey will open borders for millions of Syrian refugees, so they can go to Europe.
2020 is on hell of a year already.
Edit: stocked up about 560 liters of Water and a lot of canned foods and fruits.

Can I rant a little bit?
My boomer bosses are testing my limits.
One has a work trip to northern Italy scheduled for next week (my department has a few projects going on in this area) and I told him that he really should think twice about going. A skype session would be enough. Of course he thinks that it will be fine, because he is healthy and nothing can go wrong for him.
Bitch, I am not thinking about you. I am thinking about me, my colleagues and everybody else. This idiot is not realizing that he is endangering his employees and their families.
My other boomer boss has a trip to Stockholm scheduled next week. I think he will reconsider, as he had the flu just 2 weeks prior and he is not a complete egomaniac. We'll see how fucked Sweden is going to be in a week.
Right now I just want to slap some common sense into them. There is an official company travel ban in effect (for nothern Italy) and he apparently he just wants to ignore that.
Another colleague of mine used to work in Italy (also northern part of the country) for years right up until THIS MONDAY - he was transferred to our headquarter just this week. I am supposed to work with him, but right now I am avoiding him as much as I can.
I am not one to panic and I don't think I would be seriously ill if I catch the virus (healthy, in good shape, young enough, female), but dammit I am pissed about the "we're untouchable" attitude.

Update about my condition. What I caught is definitely a respiratory infection. My essofagus is on fire and my fever is a bit higher than normal but not much, my head hurts. It's really not any worse than the flu but taking into account the situation I'm almost certain I'm getting a personal lapdance by best girl corona. So this shit's already doing the rounds all over cadiz, it's gonna spread monday for sure. Frenadol works fine. That and water. Day's nice.

same, my dad is in his 70's and already taking several medicines. i'm not the healthiest guy ever but i'm still young and think that even if my city gets infected i would probably survive it but my dad with his age and conditions most likely wouldn't.

Yes hello, it me, the Corona virus-riddled, autistic and rètarded Italian, here to give you a quick update on the situation in Milan:
- Pharmacies still have no hand sanitisers nor masks, although I've heard that you can order them and get them in 2-3 days so not bad all in all
- The city is fairly empty, no tourists at all. That's the first thing you notice when you go to the city centre and it's very surreal. The few people around mostly don't wear masks and seem pretty chill, there's no panic in the air. The situation in the supermarkets also seems to have calmed down. Offices are still closed, whenever they can people are encouraged to work from home.
- The Duomo cathedral is supposed to open to tourists on March 2.
- Bars and pubs starting from today can be open and follow their normal hours again, BUT only those who physically serve customers to their tables are allowed to. You don't have any waiters, just the counter? Well, you're fucked. What does this mean? It means we're rètards, that's what it means.
- Every single shop owned by Chinese people is closed, and I mean it literally. Restaurants, hairdressers, bars, tobacco shops, cafès, beauticians, every single one of them. Obviously this is not due to the region nor the city council's will. It's probably a decision made by the Chinese community itself: they're afraid of being attacked and/or have been recently to China or know someone who has been etc. I haven't been to Chinatown this week but I'd imagine it's practically ghost town.
- Beppe Sala, Milan's mayor, posted a video which has gone viral. It's about a minute long, first half is in Italian, second is in English if you're interested. I personally like it.
