Yeah but of course you have to understand that if we like a girl even if we become her friend we will be thinking of dating her. I understand the dilemna.

By becoming friends for years first we get a chance to show our personality and you get to decide if our personalities are good enough to fall in love with. What is the difference between the "friend zone" and friends who you feel attracted to? I assume just a personality thing. So if I have a personality that's good we will probably end up in a relationship, and if I have a terrible awful personality she will want to be best friends with me only. What I don't understand is why women are best friends with guys who's personalities are bad?

I'm guessing they aren't really friends it's just shared social circle and the guy forcing himself further into a friendship role because he wants to be close to her when she wishes to keep him away.
