I believe we can attribute woke culture as being the cause of this issue, given that it appears to happen to many companies in the west. With two outcomes, either they pander to these small and loud creatures, or the other option is completely cut off listening to fans/consumers entirely. There are exceptions but it appears that these two outcomes mentioned are the often the easiest and laziest options that a decent number take.

That's kind of what woke culture, a movement/mentality that has no end goal it's fighting for. These dipshits never really have an idea of what to do after destroying something, they only have the thought of destroying what offends them or don't agree with. I think we all want some specific people doxxed. I've got an individual I've been watching for a bit that I want to share but I believe the moment I start, they'll dfe. They don't get credit for "fixing" the industry if they don't keep pretending the industry constantly needs fixing. It's the same thing in Vidya, where they have to keep pretending they're "fixing" Laura Croft every other game (which Yahtzee pointed out in one of his reviews), or Comics, where YaBoiZak literally named his original YT channel after the fact that comics have ALWAYS be insanely diverse.

Honestly "PoC" almost always means some variant of brown, preferably of African or Arabic descent, or at the very least, it means "not white" just like how "diversity" means "a whole lot of people that aren't straight/white/male." Asians are "white enough" not to count for that. And besides, Japan is a highly nationalistic conservative ethnostate that rejects globalism and forced diversity, so they're next on the chopping block one they "fix" the US / Canada / EU. (Someone -- Null maybe? -- on Twitter suggested that K-Pop is being artificially pushed because Korea is cucked as fuck compared to Japan, who does not give a fuck about wokeness. Basically, Korean media is the soy alternative to Japanese media that they might be wanting to push, as they have influence over Korean media they don't have over Japanese media.)

4KIDS will always have a special place in my heart. I actually recently got Fighting Foodons since I learned it was rescued and released by Discotek Media. I wonder how many shows of 4KIDS have been rescued and released properly, though. I think a lot still are in limbo, which sucks because I want Ultimate Muscle on my shelf.

Has Sonic X been fully released by any chance? It's one of those "so bad, it's good" shows of theirs that is still entertaining. Even with its problems, it gave us Mike Pollock as Eggman. That man's a treasure.

All classic 4Kids is "so bad it's good". Yugioh Duel Monsters with the ridiculous shit like the finger guns, One Piece with the pirate rap and the ridiculous censorship like the shower head, lollipop, etc.

They've gone to 3 cons together last year, one being a tiny signing event at a mall, I went to that one. Josh Martin canceled going to it, but she didn't. Also why would you assume she's KickVic? Yes she made a dirty joke, but so does everyone else on bloopers and gag reels.
The problem isn't the dirty jokes, the problem is Funimation's hypocrisy. Vic gets fired over a dad joke while all their employee's good and bad, engage in dirty jokes.

Cynthia has said nothing and stayed at conventions with him. I'm not saying she's Pro-Vic, but she hasn't shown any evidence being against him either. Until proven otherwise I assume she's neutral.

When looking at something i always try to find the most plausible explanation and with chuck i have sorta come to a conclusion. He pointed out Sabat has a casting couch at funi. He was also writing up an apology for Vic where he said Vic was basically a sex addict. My guess is that there is a little bit of truth to everything chuck said but as all things do, they get exaggerated. Especially if you're a bit crazy.

Vic obviously has had sex with fans (adult and consenting ones mind you) and Sabat most likely sleeps around at funi with quid pro quo offers but nothing on Weinsteen level. Im gonna guess hes probably a swinger. I get the feeling chuck is on some kinda puritan craze where the sexually charged atmosphere at funi and con is seen by him as a "casting couch" and vic being a "sex addict". Funimation most likely also has a slightly worse version of the usual petty office politics which turns into this "kafkaesque nightmare".

There seems to be a bit of a misconception about Chuck's affidavit when it comes to Vic having slept with fans. We know that all of Vic's sexual encounters have been with those of age and who have consented. KV seems to take it as he used his position to have some kind of leverage over those he slept with. This is not the case. Chuck did not mean that fans gave sexual favors because Vic promised them something in the industry. But it appears they are trying to twist it this way. All Chuck meant was that Vic's position in the industry made him more attractive to fans that wanted to sleep with him. Vic may have indeed gave into the groupies that followed him and had a clear romantic interest in him.
