He can't claim income tax as an expense. He also can't claim an income tax payment as an expense. Phil might be doing this, but it makes no sense at all and he won't get away with it.

Remember, expenses reduce his taxable income. He only pay taxes on income after deducting expenses. Saying taxes are an expense would be the same as saying him paying taxes reduces his taxes.

I guess Phil uses this pig-logic in two ways: Tells the IRS that his taxes are an expense, so he owes less taxes when he pays them because he has more expenses. At the same time he tells his viewers that paying taxes increases his taxes because he needs more money to pay taxes on the money he raised to pay taxes.

Never-ending cycle. He made it sound like he was taxed more than he earns.

All DSP had to say was "my consoles are protected because they are a part of my business, so I need them to do my job."

But he literally can't do that. DSP HAS to insult the guy. He HAS to call him stupid. He HAS to call him gullible. He HAS to say that the guy "has been listening to the nonsense" when there's zero evidence of that and it was a reasonable question. He HAS to claim that the guy is "spreading nonsense" by asking a question. He HAS to get angry at the guy instead of just brushing him off or calmly explaining his point.

And the best part is that DSP feels 100% justified in talking the guy that way because he immediately labels anyone a troll, and then when people call DSP out for spreading negativity himself, he just goes "nah uh, he STARTED IT!" like a 4 year old.

Like 1-2 weeks ago, someone asked Phil 'why do you have to call people idiots? why can't you just ignore it?'
