Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

Went on ALAB twitter to see any updates and they just made fun of Moronica missing their deadline

One of them talking about Lawtwitter actually calling up their job. Please tell us who it is so we can laugh

They answer if this is malpractice

Puritans have nothing better to do? They are 24/7 on social media sperging on everything and as soon as you state an opinion they go and call/email your jobs to try and get you fired.

Dopamine addiction. They literally get a high from virtue signaling and doing "activism." They become addicted to it and are driven to ever further extremes to keep the hits coming, because coming down from that is a fucking nightmare.

Pretty much. When they get banned they quickly evade or shit up some other platform. They need this shit to function like heroin.

I guess we're just waiting for Lemon Fuhrer's Motion to Extend. I know that Lemon isn't going to be writing the actual appeal brief, but he's become too much of a meme to not have him just become the face of MoRon's defense.

There's nothing nefarious about co-defendants engaging in joint strategy.
Except when that joint strategy includes to continue to attack his reputation... That is what adds in the nefarious aspect in this.

Considering Marchi is claiming to not be an agent of Funimation and considering she claims to have no part in this... well, it is not nefarious for them to engage in joint strategy, but it doesn't look good for her to either. Especially when her appeals should be the strongest and she at least should have no need to extend this. It reeks of doing this to benefit someone OTHER than herself.

Geez, does anyone right now?

Things might not completely calm down, after all. 😆

Funi does. Marchi does. Vic does.

The one firm that wanted to charge about as much as the others combined? Maybe they extended just one deadline and they need something on the 10th. Maybe not. Maybe they're just going to asssoooooooom (again) that both of the deadlines have been extended despite the letter saying their response date to Vic's brief is the 10th. Their opening brief is due the 19th. They never requested an extension for their response to Vic's brief, though.

Will they be asssoooomers?

For ironic amusement, I'll note one of the lawl twitter fuckwads posted some smarmy shit about how we'd be too dumb to figure out the oh-so-complicated deadline issues with an appeal and cross-appeal and meanwhile it is only MoRon's idiot lawyers who have had any problem understanding it.
