I also don't see a point-he makes $100k (+ or -) from the wheelchairs just for showing up and has zero transferrable skills. Short of getting banned from all 3 of Twitch, YT, and Mixer there is no way on Earth he'd make more with a real job. Hell, at his age the initial drop in income from going back to a real job might be large enough that he'd earn less over his lifetime than if he sticks with ebegging.

Yeah, all the "get a job" theories revolve around him starting at the bottom of the ladder and working his way up. That didn't happen in Helicopter Land, he just pissed everyone off with his proto-piggery and got fired. Realistically, once streaming dries up he'll just be stocking potatoes at Fred Meyer with Kat for the rest of his life. Well, not the "with Kat" part, you know what I mean.

He makes a good amount of money considering how much he "works" and what he does, but that's still not enough for his lifestyle and now he's nearly half a mil. $ in debt.

I can't imagine Phil working a real job at all. What're his options in WA? He doesn't know anyone there that can help him, his degree doesn't mean shit if he doesn't have any sort of experience in the domain at all.

His only options are boring, repetitive office jobs or manual labor, both paying min. wage or slightly above. He's fucked on the long run when streaming won't be enough and he'll have to get an actual job, he won't be used to not having as much money as he used to.

He could apply for some low-level accounting position like receivables using his "experience". Phil could pigsplain that he has a business degree and ran a successful home business for 10 years, and it might be enough for someone to consider him, briefly.

Phil's biggest problem is that he has no previous employers to vouch for him, no references. So whoever's hiring him will probably search for his "business" on the internet, and that'll be the end of that opportunity.
