Jesus I need to lie down for a minute
1. Vic already had legal counsel before he ever spoke to Nick. So... he did not encourage Vic to file the lawsuit.
2. The judge did not rule on any truths of the matter. So... the defendants could still indeed be in the wrong. It is just they can use the 1st amendment as a shield to say whatever the fuck they want. True or not. Damaging or not.
3. Not this "let it blow over" shit again. He waited for 3 or 4 months and STILL was getting pounded on Twitter by fucktards.
4. The fuck would be a "meaningful" apology? Killing himself? Admitting to shit he didn't do? Fuck off.
5. He wouldn't have had to file a lawsuit if weirdos like Ron Soye wouldn't have accused him of sex crimes every minute of the day... and getting him cancelled from cons by screaming he's a "safety concern" doesn't help either.
6. The other lawyers Vic had seen were willing to take his case. It wasn't that they said he had no case. It was just that they had other cases and wouldn't be able to move Vic's case as fast as he would have liked.
7. Please educate yourself before speaking. Settlement would have saved a lot of headache and heartache.

Sometimes I don't really know why its bad to "file a frivolous lolsuit"...vic lost all of his voice acting roles expect for rohan in diu (even though he probably already done voices already months prior), ended up developing high blood pressure and go to therapy and took two different pills prescribed to him so he wouldnt kill himself, Jamie saying " she doesn't care if he's harrassed" all over the fact people are accusing him. This isn't some case like"oh we made fun of him so he sued us.".. They were accusing him of actual crimes and lied about a police investigation. Lawtwitter are dumbasses and i don't really know why they keep saying "ItS a FriVolOus loLsUit" when they would be suing people if people called them pedophiles and rapist for 4 months.

Because they are convinced the years of rumors are true so this is his karma coming for him. Monica and Jamie are heroes for finally coming forward after all these years.
This entire thing is more emotion driven than logic driven. If they were in a similar situation it would be totally different than Vic's because... Reasons.
