Diseased #Comicsgate - The Culture Wars Hit The Funny Books!

As we’ve seen before, Ethan treats CG as a group until he’s told to expunge WarCampaign. At which point CG mysteriously goes back to just being an idea he has no control over.

EVS won’t say anything even mildly critical of WC until someone with substantially more clout comes down from on high and shames him about it, at which point he’ll pretend they’re just overzealous fans and not a group of raging psychopaths doing everything in his name. Eventually he’ll go on a larger channel and get asked a bunch of softball questions about it (see: Nick Rekieta and Ethan Ralph) and everything with be A-OK. The cycle continues.

At some point one of them will do something heinous enough that I think EVS will get dragged into it. Referring to someone as “Caesar” only let’s you deflect so much when said person is actively sharing what you post and referring to themelves as Caesar too.

Pretty much, I'll give it 6 months to a year or two when wc to do something that ethan will have to disavow, the panboy situation should've been the realist chance to jump ship but now, since mandy is the disaposbile pitty thot of cg I doubt he would care.

I couldn't think it could be worse but Cridious cashed everything in, no refunds, and delivered nothing. Peak OG Founder CG performance there.

EVS kept saying "be more skeptical of CG projects guyses, don't back every of them, be critical."

But he was the one insisting and marketting Cridious's book and asking his subs to go back his book every time he was live streaming with him, "please be more wary of Cg projects and don't back everything" should have said "please be more skeptical of my own judgement and don't do everything i tell you to do." Like the good Cult Guru he is.

Edit : Looks like the Breit is planning a digital download of the first 24 pages, still no update on when the actual book is going to be finished ! In 2020 ! Fucking fantastic !

Actually, nothing. You would think it's good, but it's actually the problem. There is absolutely nothing going on with them, they buried their heads in the sand and looks like they are waiting for the hurricane to go away, they might think that if no one talk about them, everyone is going to forget about them, pretty good tactic, because i almost forgot about them too.

What happened to the Detective Dead Livestream that was supposed to happen on the Ikari Press channel? Did he delete it? It was supposed to happen this morning.

Edit, I guess it was deleted because Crid doxed Preston? Or something.

I saw it, Cridious said he spent all the money for personal expenses (food, bills, living), around 2K usd on drawings / covers, license for "music" and license for fonts, CG attendees in the chat just being furious and stating how damaging for CG his failure is, stated the whole time he was unemployed, gone unemployed for more than 5 years, got approached by some people willing to buy the detective comics IP from him, Ethan rejecting the offer to come on stream and talk with him, Evs waited he was gone then hop on (like the brave man he is, allways, to try to not be associated with him when he pretty heavily advertised Cridious's book early on for almost 10 months) stating things like "it's better to make a 32 page books with nice drawings than 100+ more pages that looks like shit like bigfoot bill and earthworm jim" comparing it directly with what doug is doing, the usual project and try to deflect and pile on people that have nothing to do with Cridious's failure if you catch my drift.

Trying to say it's horrible that Mike S Miller asked a thousand usd for a variant cover when EVS himself has had a few of these "deals" with other CG creators too, the usual drama stuff.

Evs probably asked Ikari to delete it because it looked like pretty bad PR.

Who is Preston?
 
Preston runs the “Pocket Jacks Comics” channel. He is pretty autistic but his videos are very useful in keeping up with current events in CG. He also makes it a point to play actual clips of the drama he’s discussing so while he has a lot of bad takes, he does bring a lot of actual evidence to the table.

Nasser always delivered on time, although he's seems tardish but he's probably the most successful cg talent outside the big 3 (Ethan, zack and doug) it's mind boggling that a 22 year old college student that streams eating little ceasers for lunch is more reliable than most of the cg members.
