I wonder what his relationship with his parents is like as all the bankruptcy proceedings pick up speed. Is he being ahnest with them about the true nature of his financials, or are they also getting the misleading version he's feeding to Rochelle.

His mahm is militantly reinforcing his god & persecution complexes.

His dad is contemplating ritual suicide.

Well, supposedly Phil's parents told him to just stop paying his mortgage. So clearly he hasn't mentioned any of this to them at all.

I'm more curious what he's told Kat.

Bitch ain't getting her cruise or whatever the fuck it was he promised her.
I thought it was very interesting that during the Connecticut Wedding Trip, Phil only seemed to be consulting with Mama Burnell in regards to his financial situation, and it was she who gave him the $4k. I get the vague impression that Papa Burnell may have already washed his hands of Phil's financial woes by that point.

Going with the current Phil logic, he likely thinks after he gets all his debt wiped out he can just do a fundraiser for the honeymoon and wring a few grand out of his wheelchairs.

I mean, he's not wrong on getting the money. He could just say "give me money because I need it" and probably get what he wants.

Phil made a good amount of money. His parents are rather poor so they probably were happy phil could care for them when they are old. Now they see he lost it all.
The Burnells aren't poor, I'd say they're middle-class. Dave's made a good income for decades, I assume in the $70k+ year range. It's more how they live, their house is a more ghetto area and cheap. And Linda appears to be the more traditional type wife that stayed home and Mama's boy'd Philip, leading to the massive failure he is today.

lol in that video at 10:27 is like talking directly to phil. "so before you file, that's the time to identify potential problems. and if you talk to an attorney and they say 'ah don't worry about it, not gonna be a problem.' don't believe that. you want to be very very careful. again if you have any kind of assets- and I always tell my clients, you know, whatever your property value is- what you think it is- you want to have from 3 or 4 different sources... because what I find is the trustees are going to look for an agent who is going to come in on the high side of what the value of the property is..."
Jesus fucking Christ. Phil is absolutely going to have diarrhea once he sees this post. The writing is on the wall.

I like another video from this (((Ginsberg))) that makes me think of Philippo.

I don't know why but that Ginsberg dude almost makes me wish I lived in Atlanta and was filing for bankruptcy. Just goes to show that if Phil really wanted to (and didn't think he was smarter than everyone else), with a bit of honesty, rather than the automatic reflex of lying, he could make this fairly easy and painless, at least compared to what he's doing now.

His pathetic attempt to hide income and assets – in addition to the delusion that they won't take the Wakhando – will only ensure that he's gonna get reamed something fierce. He's basically risking that they won't just take his big boy adult house but also that he'll incur additional debts as a result of litigation from trying to screw the trustee out of their commission.

Of course he's honest with them. Filing for bankruptcy makes him a mature adult. They'd be so proud.

Well from what I gather, Phil's parents (at least his mother) are likely to be enablers regardless of whatever ahnest story he cooks up. Phil is, in all likelihood, treated like a coddled baby-man-child. We can tell by the exorbitant amounts of money his mom hands over for 'support,' the fact that she paid for their wedding, and even that weird Wolverine figure "listen-up-kids" story he told (even if this is true, but he's so ahnest I can't even tell sometimes).

Yeah I've tried to make sense of his whole first edition/second edition wolverine story and his timeline is off, nowhere in any toy forum has known of some super special first edition wolverine, there was only the yellow and blue Jim Lee era as for the second run they made that along with the old school brown and orange and the packaging was labeled as 2nd edition and it is there they made the super special Wolverine in the X-force costume sans face cowl. What Phil was claiming is that they made said orange and brown version in the first run and that's not true (notice how I could have used the opportunity to pull a pigroach and say Phil's a dumb shithead for believing such a farce but I don't).

A lot of good information from those videos. The more I watch, the more I feel Phil has really done it this time. If he doesn't get Chapter 7 which seems next to impossible, he's well and truly fucked. There's another video about how difficult it is to manage a Chapter 13 when you are self-employed, and the guy seems to discourage even trying it unless you really know what you are doing. The trustee will scrutinize him for every penny, require regular detailed financial statements, and a missed payment almost guarantees dismissal. It's even worse than I imagined. There's no way he'll pull this off for 5 years.

Getting Chapter 7 isn't much better because according to the video about assets, his kahndo really is up for grabs. The trustee is rewarded monetarily by selling as much shit as possible, or try to convert to a Chapter 13.

Stop listening to actual facts from people who don't benefit from lying to you, and just believe DSP.
You know what he's right cause the local comic book shop by me totally had in their display case the 1st edition brown and orange Wolverine with 1st edition printed on the box AND the X-Force Wolverine also 1st edition yeah I'm a morahn for thinking something so idiotic.
