Dobbles lies habitually, and frequently fails to keep track of those lies. He probably did have it longer.
I can't find it, but there was a picture of him from his college days posted here, and he is in fact wearing a fedora. Indoors, because of course he is. In his high school graduation pic you can see the earliest stages of his hair thinning, so it's 100% him being ashamed of balding at an early age.
Thanks! That's definitely him, but I bet he'll total deny that it is. Or that it is him, but it was taken in 2008 or later even though he was in some obvious school setting 4+ years after graduating from MCAD.
It makes perfect sense when you consider Dobson and the people he follows use their interests and minority group status as a replacement for a personality.
How old is he in this picture? He looks exactly the same! It's like a crappier version of Keanu Reeves syndrome where instead of looking like a rugged twenty something forever he's looked like a schlubby fat balding guy in his late 30's forever.
