She was asked that in one of her early and not posted live streams and it's a legal thing. He cannot get a license but she didn't disclose why he can't. So it's either health, revoked or other issue.

Chantal will do anything in her power to fake being someone she's not. In her mind she made it and is turning a new leaf. New home, new beginning as she said. Only that won't even last a day before she plants her roots on ground floor and never move while Peetz will have to do all the work. Can't wait for a house tour video complete with giggling and her fake soft spoken voice.
Reality is she doesn't need a big house because she A) doesn't clean, B) doesn't have kids, and most importantly C) can't fucking walk or stand. Everyone know this is a waste of money except for her and her lap dog. Amy's crapper wagon is basically her dream house.

One can only imagine the lies she told grandma or mom to cosign on the apartment. "I'm going to therapy", "I've already lost 3 lbs", "It will be a new start" etc.... I won't feel sorry in the least for them falling for her shit when she inevitably fucks up their credit or bleeds them dry.
Getting the apartment was the smallest hurdle. Maintaining the rent payments is where it will get dicey. Chinny is clearly at the beginning of a cycle where optimisim and belief in the woo du jour/ book of the month is high. This time she has it figured out. She just won't binge or eat fast food. That will free up over 1k in cash each month. More than half of her share of the rent. She is motivated to drive James to work every day. Those hours in the car will be a distraction. Imagine all the audio books she can listen to.
Cut to James being late to work or having to be on public transit by 5am so he can earn a wage. Chinny will be too tired, not in the mood, or under the weather with a case of the shits to drive him. When she does drive James, no fast food estabishment on the route will be safe. She will eat her share of the rent and expect everyone else to make up her slack.
If they make it to the end of their lease (one year I am assuming), it will be surprising. I am expecting this whole arrangement to devolve into a shit show of epic proportions (literally) within 3 months. Happy times for the Farms is on the horizon.

Maybe she’ll love having the excuse of telling grandma she can’t take her shopping (while she sits in the parking lot) because Peetz has the car, and if it’s the same apt in the last apt pics she showed with the stairs what the hell is she going to be putting upstairs? She ain’t gonna be climbing those stairs without packing a lunch and vlogging it as an adventure.

LOL and I'm sure part of her self negotiation is "With all the stairs, I'll get more exercise!" She'll wind up on the main floor and turn the living room into her 'mukbang' studio and bedroom because 'muh knees', and Peetz can have the upper floor to himself with some sort of mini-fridge for his stash of shit food. She's definitely a 600 pound life waiting to happen.

Not to powerlevel too much, but if it is in Orleans it's not a 4 hour commute, Orleans to Downtown is probably around 30-45 minutes there and maybe 10-15 back in rush hour.
She's still probably too lazy for that but let's not make it worse than it is

Did I miss something? She was getting support and some advice in the comments. I also saw them just discussing how they all struggle with binge eating or food addiction . Why does she bother typing long wannabe authoritative comments back just to delete them ? It’s obvious she’s just using these sad women for views and doesn’t care about them or herself. Six months later plot twist.... this is where my brain went and I had to share. Warning: not my best moment, but it is a job she would be qualified for.
Our goyrl Chantal is actually doing the eating plan that her doctors and professionals have told her to do! She's cooking healthy and on de plan and losing 20-30 pounds a munt. But her YewTube channel, it's suffering because her life is so routine that she's not entertaining anymore, because she's so regimented, organized, but the small intimate following finds her delightful, optimistic, engaging and she's an absolute inspiration! She's doing yoga and pilates - she's doing it - she's melting off the pounds, she's deadlifting and counting every macro... she's cooking up delicious, healthy, simple meals and meal prepping to watch the portions, the macros, to avoid binges. She's got this! She reallllllly does this time!
Every dream is coming true - it's surreal how moving out has changed her life! Except for the decease in views has impacted her financials negatively.
Ohhhh nooooos.... she's not able to make ends meet - she needs to make a living but she's been off the market for several years. A Google search is going to be detrimental even though she's doing so amazing now! She was fired from her last position.... she has to get creative.. her skills in recent years... eating in her car, getting drive-through and take out food. Insomnia and sometimes binging at all hours of the morning...
But there's actually a job for her not on the Youtube - Uber Eats Driver.
You've waited 70 minutes for your food, and it's -17 C and she waddles up to your door with food in tow. Because she still has the overweight gait. 2 Large pizzas and tub of jalepeno poppers with dipping sauces from Pizza PIzza. She frantically and awkwardly hands over the food from the insulated bag... and you notice the containers have been opened and some of the food sampled, based on the fingerprints made with the pepperoni oil. A full fucking slice is missing... You ask "what, what happened to my pizza?" and she smiles and says "BEAUTY BITE!!! HAA HAAA TEE HEEE!"
