A transgender girl accused of assaulting two students at a Texas high school alleges that she was being bullied and was merely fighting back

Shocking video shows a student identified by police as Travez Perry violently punching, kicking and stomping on a girl in the hallway of Tomball High School.

The female student was transported to the hospital along with a male student, whom Perry allegedly kicked in the face and knocked unconscious.

According to the police report, Perry - who goes by 'Millie' - told officers that the victim has been bullying her and had posted a photo of her on social media with a negative comment.

One Tomball High School parent whose daughter knows Perry said that the 18-year-old had been the target of a death threat.

'From what my daughter has said that the girl that was the bully had posted a picture of Millie saying people like this should die,' the mother, who asked not to be identified by name, told DailyMail.com.

When Perry appeared in court on assault charges, her attorney told a judge that the teen has been undergoing a difficult transition from male to female and that: 'There's more to this story than meets the eye.'

Perry is currently out on bond, according to authorities.

The video of the altercation sparked a widespread debate on social media as some claim Perry was justified in standing up to her alleged bullies and others condemn her use of violence.

The mother who spoke with DailyMail.com has been one of Millie's most ardent defenders on Facebook.

'I do not condone violence at all. But situations like this show that people now a days, not just kids, think they can post what they want. Or say what they want without thinking of who they are hurting,' she said.

'Nobody knows what Millie has gone through, and this could have just been a final straw for her. That is all speculation of course because I don't personally know her or her family, but as a parent and someone who is part of the LGBTQ community this girl needs help and support, not grown men online talking about her private parts and shaming and mocking her.'

One Facebook commenter summed up the views of many, writing: 'This was brutal, and severe! I was bullied for years and never attacked anyone!'

Multiple commenters rejected the gender transition defense and classified the attack as a male senselessly beating a female.

One woman wrote on Facebook: 'This person will get off because they're transitioning. This is an animal. She kicked, and stomped, and beat...not okay. Bullying is not acceptable, but kicking someone in the head. Punishment doesn't fit the crime.'

The training should include how to ensure things such as inspirational speeches, motivational phrases, locker-room talk, pep rallies, and team chants are inclusive and gender-neutral. Examples of phrases that should be eliminated include 'man up' or 'don't be a sissy,'
How is any of this a current problem? At least in a mixed-sex school, teachers have no reason to use gendered language to address their classes, unless this is referring to something dumb like calling everyone "guys" with neutral intent. I guess a boys' sports coach might tell his team to "man up."

Apparently my priorities are unusual, but I wish states would focus on things like identifying signs of abuse/neglect, how to address severe bullying, or providing support to students in schools with high drop-out/gang membership rates, rather than nitpicking teachers' vocabularies.

How did some bathroom issue in north Carolina become this fucking big and led to the giant trans rights campaign we see today.
Honestly, it's two fold, it's squeaky wheel gets the oil and troons squawk like no other since they do nothing but it and secondly, it's a non issue, to focus on letting all the shady ass back deal stuff happen.

Hey, I just got me a pile of grumman stock, mr senator lets go bomb us a new country and make it big! Cool... people don't like war tho, uhh... so like dudes can't pee in front of little girls, I'll go make a statement about that in the morning.

This is absolutely mindblowing insane. To let a child dictate the rest of their entire life when they barely know a goddamn thing in this world is the worst form of Hand-Off parenting I've seen.

I look forward all of these folks joining the rest of the 41% of their friends.
It's doubly absurd when you consider how they want parents to be helicopters and protect their children from all forms of independence in every other way. Parents get CPS called on them because they allow their high school kids to walk to and from school unsupervised because we can't trust a 14 year old to exercise any judgment or caution when out in public, but at the same time a kid can decide to mutilate their own genitals and no one is even supposed to question it?

So I think it will be people saying that some supported it, but there weren't that many of them and they themselves weren't part of it. While the last won't be true they could probably pass a lie detector test because they honestly believe it. Fortunately in this day and age we will have their twitter/facebook history, unlike past social movements that gets quietly memory-holed.
It is disturbing how much the memory hole isn't even entirely a deliberate strategy, but rather a big part of it is just a pathological reflex.

Personal example: earlier this past year remember when Trump was talking about entertaining peace talks with North Korea. I have a SJW friend who was so emphatic and terrified about Trump endorsing the murderous insane NK regime and that if Trump wasn't a piece of shit he'd be standing up against NK and calling them out. Literally two weeks later is when Trump started doing exactly that, smack-talking Kim Jong Un on Twitter and publicly warning that NK better watch itself and not piss off America or the free world or they'd have a price to pay. Cue my SJW friend immediately claiming Trump is a dangerous warmonger who would get us all nuked and he should be more peaceful when talking to nations like NK. And he pretended he had never ever said anything different, even though I had a fucking recording on my phone of him saying Trump needed to be more openly opposed to NK (purely by happy accident because we were at a bar and I was recording someone else say something funny while the SJW was saying this and the recording clearly picked it up). I started playing it back and he immediately settled on "well I can see you're in a bad mood tonight so I'm going to give you space" and he couldn't walk away and find another conversation to barge into fast enough. So it's a weird combination of intentional dishonesty and narcissism requiring their minds to pretend they never held a stance that it's obvious now they won't get support for keeping.

That gaslighting is a huge part of it too. I'm sure many of you have a story of an SJW who won't back down on their lies until you've gotten them in a corner with proof of what they're doing, and they turn it around on you and act as though you have some emotional problem for questioning them.

Should time-honored school traditions dubbing students as kings and queens for homecomings and proms be changed in favor of more gender spectrum-inclusive titles?

That's among the recommendations of a new state report on inclusivity for students with nonconforming gender identities, which has sparked a conversation among suburban school leaders.

The report suggests Illinois' public schools drop reliance on traditional male-female gender descriptions and train teachers to use more inclusive language when addressing groups of students.

"The training should include how to ensure things such as inspirational speeches, motivational phrases, locker-room talk, pep rallies, and team chants are inclusive and gender-neutral. Examples of phrases that should be eliminated include 'man up' or 'don't be a sissy,'" the report recommends.

The Illinois State Board of Education this month will issue guidance to schools for creating policies based on the task force's recommendations, spokeswoman Jackie Matthews said.

"It's important to recognize that our society as a whole, not just schools, are in a period of transition," said Mark Kovack, associate superintendent for student services for Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211.

District 211 is well-versed on gender identity debates after recently resolving a nearly 4½-year legal battle on the issue of transgender students' access to locker rooms. Last November, the school board voted to no longer require transgender students to use privacy stalls made available for all students in locker rooms.

"As a school district, we have been responding to students' unique needs forever, long before gender became a focal point," Kovack said.

District 211 schools have homecoming and prom kings and queens, which has been a controversial topic for years before the task force released its report, he said.

"Culture is something that develops over time and it doesn't transform overnight," Kovack said. "Usually, it takes a little bit of time to see a movement. We are engaged in that and trying to determine the best ways to go about bringing about positive change."

Some schools nationwide have opted to recognize a group of students as "homecoming royalty court" instead of singling out individuals.

"Such conversations have been unfolding at public schools over the past several years with increased visibility of trans identities, said Nat Duran, youth engagement manager for Illinois Safe Schools Alliance, which provides training to schools and supports youth in partnership with the GSA (Gender and Sexuality Alliances) Network.

Officials at Elgin Area School District U-46 soon will review the task force's recommendations and district policies.

The state's second-largest school district weathered controversy a few years ago when administrators decided to allow a transgender middle school student access to the locker room and restroom corresponding with that student's gender identity.

"We, as a district, kind of take things case by case," said school board member Veronica Noland, who served on the state task force.

Beyond titles, the task force report addresses school districts' policies toward providing equal educational opportunities for students of varying gender identities and expression and preventing discrimination, harassment and bullying, as prohibited by state and federal laws.

Some educators and schools may be less in step philosophically with the state recommendations, but Duran believes it's only a matter of time before practices change.

"Learning new things is just as much about unlearning old things," Duran said, "and that can be a very vulnerable process."

Affirming and Inclusive Schools Task Force recommendations
The Illinois State Board of Education should consider providing guidance on procedures for:

• Changing a name and gender marker in student records that recognizes that a legal name change is not a prerequisite.

• Updating a name and gender marker in data and information submitted to the state.

• Offering a nonbinary gender marker option for submitting data and information to the state.

• Using an affirmed name on standardized testing.

• Under state law, the name and gender marker recorded in a student's permanent record should include both affirmed name and gender, as well as legal name and gender. The legal name and gender shall not be disclosed except as required by law.

• Under state law, directory information should include only a student's affirmed name.

• The Illinois Department of Human Rights should consider issuing guidance to districts on complying with the Illinois Human Rights Act.

• Guidance should include IHRA's requirements on: the rights of transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming individuals; students' participation in sports and other activities; protecting students from bullying or harassment; and respecting students' affirmed names and pronouns, including by updating student records.

• The state should consider: exploring how teacher preparation programs can address issues relating to supporting transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming students; working with stakeholders to evaluate the state's comprehensive sexual education curriculum for kindergarten through 12th grade; and promoting greater inclusion in school-based activities, including engaging with Illinois Elementary School Association and Illinois High School Association to review their policies on inclusion.

in my home town, there was a tranny, f2m, who wanted to run for homecoming king. the staff at the school was ok with her acting like a guy and calling her a him, but they didnt want her to run for king. the whole town lost their shit. this fuckin' world.

Oh I hate that shit, they act like you're mentally molesting them.
When they finally acknowledge that they might have memory-holed something they do the mental gymnastics of claiming that they actually meant the opposite or it had a completely different meaning. It can be summarized satirically as "I never said that and anyway I meant something else". It breaks down into two discrete parts, "I never said that" and "I meant something else", two things that cannot be true at once, but with a very narrow mental scope one has disappeared from view when the other statement is uttered.
You never said that? Yes. You meant something else? Yes. You never said it AND you meant something else? No.

It also works the other way around when they deny that YOU said something AND insist that you meant something else.

Happen to have a link for that?

I'll see if I can find it, it wasn't long or particularly interesting I just remember that part. The guy had been yeeted himself, losing his high-paying job and was now driving a taxi delivering sushi. It was written anonymously but it felt like it could have been Jamie Kilstein.

Sort of apropos of nothing, but I recently watched this video debate hosted by the Heritage Foundation of all groups about women having the protections and considerations that they truly do deserve just stolen and gifted to troons who then kick them out of their own spaces and laugh about it. There's something about seeing a nice lesbian woman explain how frustrating it is to be dismissed as a tool of right-wing conservatives just because they're the only ones who will host her fairly while the progressives who claim to be her guardians steal and warp her own voice - how is a woman supposed to feel when men put on dresses and tell her to shut up and get back in the kitchen? Deciding that no woman can make an informed choice to speak publicly with conservatives because she reasonably determines that even if they disagree with her on some big issues, it's still much more important that they won't silence or misrepresent her like the progressive left will - how much more condescending and patronizing towards women can you get?

I've been on the side of women needing their own space free of invasion by troons for a while, but this and listening to Meghan Murphy lately has really solidified my understanding of why they reasonably state that the problem has always been men trying to stomp on women and steal their spaces and voices and just because men are wearing dresses doesn't mean anything about that has changed. Some feminists say "terf" is a slur and I can understand that reaction too now because it condescendingly dismisses the very real concept that social hurdles imposed by men because of biological realities that men hold against women has always been a crucial part of feminism, and how dare any males now put on dresses and decide that both the enculturation of men vs women and the biological concerns that women grow up dealing with just magically don't count for anything anymore.

Watch one of these women tear up as she tells the story of a tranny piece of shit proudly stating in a women's support group that his womanly experience is just as valid as a real woman recovering from a hysterectomy and getting applauded for it, and try telling me you don't feel for the anger of women who just perceive a new clever strategy for men to invade and dominate them because they can't stand the idea of women ever coming first in any situation at all.

Nothing changes does it? replace witch with TERF and it’s all there.

Should time-honored school traditions dubbing students as kings and queens for homecomings and proms be changed in favor of more gender spectrum-inclusive titles?

Should 99.999% of people be inconvenienced so a tiny minority small as a rounding error can have their cocks sucked 24/7?

That's what all these stories read like.

"Some schools nationwide have opted to recognize a group of students as "homecoming royalty court" instead of singling out individuals."
At the end of the day, Prom King/Queen is a contest to see who the most special student is. Now we're making entire groups of students special? No wonder these kids are pretending to be something other than male/female. Everyone's a special little snowflake, which means nobody is.

A homecoming “court” is not a new concept. It was always the norm at my schools. The only difference I guess would be getting rid of the gendered king and queen designations, but then just call it what it is: most popular. Girls will care about it more than guys, you’ll have the geek types trying to sabotage with a outsider candidate (ala Election) and the bitch with the most votes wins.

Did any of these people ever get beyond high school, emotionally speaking? It’s like they’re still waging their angsty adolescent battles into adulthood and then projecting it down onto dumb kids.

Why can't becoming homecoming queen/king be like it was before: a popularity contest. Now the homecoming queen for my school wasn't a bitch but she was still really popular and a cheerleader. Anyone getting mad at not being homecoming queen/king are mentally children. It's not important and it really only shows how popular you are. But getting it by other means would be dumb and make the person wanting it look dumb.

>mentally children
>kids being put on hormones at 12
are you seeing the connection yet?
Nobody who I know actually put any stock in homecoming/prom queen, unless you were raised on cheesy sappy high school movies.

Sometimes I think Pol Pot had the right idea....

------

It's incredible that people who work at newspapers, you know those organs devoted to covering genocide, rape, torture, and all the rest, think it's supposed to be their safe space from any harmful opinions.

Oh wait when I say people, I mean 'trannies', obviously. Nobody else would be so fucking stupid.

A third transgender person has resigned from The Guardian amid a long and bitter row over the newspaper’s problematic coverage of transgender issues.

The woman dramatically announced her resignation in front of colleagues in a packed staff meeting on Tuesday, HuffPost UK understands.

It came just hours after The Guardian published an opinion piece by Suzanne Moore entitled: “Women must have the right to organise. We will not be silenced.”

The controversial column was written in response to the cancellation of Selina Todd’s expected address at a feminist conference after Todd was accused of transphobia.

Writing in defence of Todd, Moore equated the movement against transgender rights with the protests against convicted child rapist Roman Polanski.

The comparison with sexual predators was furthered by the decision to head the article with a photo of an anti-Roman Polanski protest in Paris.

This column was said to be “the straw that broke the camel’s back” for the former Guardian employee. She had reportedly handed in her notice a few weeks earlier, but chose to speak out in the busy news meeting to draw attention to the increasing anti-trans views being published by the paper.

She is preceded by two other transgender employees who recently quit the Guardian citing “institutional transphobia”. They claimed that the Guardian is “an incredibly transphobic organisation” that has caused “harm” to trans people through its reporting on trans issues.

The matter has been the subject of several internal battles, beginning with a now-notorious editorial in October 2018.

In the article The Guardian set out its stance on GRA reform, suggesting trans rights and women’s rights were on a collision course.

The backlash was swift – in a retaliatory editorial, US Guardian journalists said they were “dismayed” by the UK Guardian’s stance on trans rights, which in their view “advanced transphobic viewpoints” that harm trans people.

As well as this, the Guardian has increasingly touted the idea that a “trans lobby” is harming children – a theme often seen in anti-trans coverage by right-wing newspapers.

A Guardian News & Media spokesperson told HuffPost UK: “We do not comment on discussions at our morning editorial conference.”

For those who are angry with The Guardian’s recent coverage of trans issues and want to show their support for transgender and non-binary people, here are some proactive things you can do.

Basically the Guardian published this

which Prick news didn't link to, because it's a propaganda outlet on behalf of pricks of all kinds, saying that it was bad that after Selina Todd organised a '50 years of women's liberation' conference, that she was cancelled and tipp-exed out on the signs for the event, because she doesn't want to suck tranny cock, or something (IDK wtf her views are).

Obviously if you are an insane fucking tranny that is equivalent to wanting trannies to be gassed and made into dog food, so the Guardian (supposedly an organ of free thought) NOT agreeing with censoring academics from expressing their opinions makes it 'unsafe' for trannies to work there.

For some reason both the Shittington Post and Prick News don't give the name of the person who should've ensured they'll never work again but probably will (at Prick News, BuzzFeed or similar), but it's presumably

On the subject of prom kings and queens, I object only because i would rather have it change it to "God Emperor/Emperess" or "Supreme Chancellor" so the plebs know their place.

Such as "freak"?

And now the court is to be filled with "homecoming eunuchs".

Even indian women know about autogynephilia nowadays:
Many moons ago I got into a Twitterspat about pre-op trans women in women’s shelters, prisons, bathrooms and women’s sports. And someone had brought the tweets in question to the organisers’ attention. As a result, the Polis Project thought it was only fair to shelve a screening of a film about a pressing topic that affects women across all social strata in society. All because the filmmaker believes biological sex is not a social construct, that women’s sex-based oppression is real, that housing people with male genitalia in spaces with victims of male sexual violence can be harrowing to women inmates, that mental illnesses like autogynephilia and other dysphorias can cause dangerous, irrevocable damage, and that gender theorists are erasing women, much like patriarchy does.
