It annoys me when people bring up the "no true scotsman" as a fallacy, because it's actually not. It's not really anything meaningful at all.

One black person kills someone, therefore every black person is like that.
Then someone replies with "no true scotsman" as an attempt to say that ALL black people kill people. Like what? LMFAO.

What is your quest for surgery if it's not a coping mechanism? Tell me, why would anyone wish to follow the example of someone who despises themself?

Do you really think that your self-loathing is going to go away with a little bit of surgery? Are you ready for your rude awakening, or do you delude yourself into thinking that you'll feel better instead of inevitably finding new "flaws" in yourself as others don't respond to your surgeries the way you were expecting them to?

Having a lot of people agree towards some preference doesn't make it objective. If 2/3rds of the world liked a certain book, does it become objectively "good"?

If he's pretty he'll graduate school with top marks and become Chief Engineer of a Fortune 100 company in ten years, with a supermodel wife (and several pieces of tail on the side), all because his chin is now fifteen milimetres longer and at a more "masculine" angle. Surely his shitty personality and complete inability to face hardship and uncertainty will just vanish!

no I don't think like some robot, who assumes this is all there is to relationships

However this dynamic is still there
men are constantly scared of upsetting their wife...
a lot of which is due to the control she has over their sex life.

misbehaving = no sex
the way you probably think of it is "I need to keep her happy"
