Anti-Os often have a huge moral superiority complex about the whole thing. They aren't willing to admit that following Onision drama is fun and easy, but have a mentality that they're moral crusaders for justice. This is why it took them years before openly discussing Kai/Lainey. One thing you notice among anti Os is a lot of black and white thinking, people are either evil abusers or perfect angels. It makes them totally under equipped to study this situation, and imo is one of the reasons why they initially idealized and then vilified Hansen.

Yea even to those involved in cases, police or fbi or whoever wouldnt just toss information about an investigation out there because it could then be accessible to those being investigated. And then they could like, fuck with the evidence or come up with an alibi. If by any chance Chris had information that was really important to the investigation, he wouldnt share it or that could fuck with the investigation and he would be charged with interfering with an active investigation. speaking from personal experience not that it matters.
